This spring I won two interesting African prints in one of their online auctions. Brent and Diane (the owners) took the paintings to the post office in Richardson and the prints were immediately lost before they could even be loaded in the truck to Austin. While they were under no obligation due to their standard terms and conditions, Central Treasures refunded the bulk of my purchase. They basically covered their costs and I thought that was completely fair. It wasn't their fault the Post Office could find Austin with two hands and a flashlight, and I chalked it all up as just another 2020 peccadillo. But Brent and Diane just couldn't let it go. They keep poking and asking and to everyone's surprise the prints found their way back to Central Treasures four months later. A quick email from Diane, a charge back of the generous refund and my Ugandan watercolors now hold pride of place in their new home.
