(I don't know how they did it, usually they are sold in pairs, but they found a buyer for me!). The check that was promptly issues sat on my "ToDo" pile of papers on my desk for months... Needless to say the check expired. A quick call and trip up to the shop and Brant reissued me a new one on the spot. No fuss. The whole transaction took about 10 minutes. While I was there, I got a chance to browse their tastefully curated selection of antiques. Great items for all price ranges! I'll be back here next time I'm looking to class up a room or give a thoughtful unique gift.

Nicest and most welcoming greeting I have had at any auction. The auctioneer, Clellan Foster is a great auctioneer and does a a good job keeping things moving when he is on the stand. His descriptions are accurate and he honestly represents the items he is selling. His auction style is engaging and fun. He too makes everybody feel welcome. They also have a concession stand that sells some tasty morsels. I had nachos, chili and barbecue brisket. The nachos were fresh, the chili good and the brisket was nic This was my first visit to Foster's but it will not be my last, these are some good folks and I really enjoyed the experience and tender.

I love silver! They have lots of pieces to pick from. Remember the prices are market prices plus some for them to make a profit. They are closed on Sundays and Mondays. The hours the rest of the week are only till 2:30. These girls are all business, so don't get butt hurt if they cut you short. They do ask that you wear a mask in the store. Not an issue. However, I do see customers come in without one and it is frowned upon. They will still sell to you, but you best be prepared for what you want. If they don't have what you want they will find it for you. They are really good about that! Sometimes they close early. They will place a sign in the door. I appreciate that, however, it does me no good. If I've made a trip there for the specific purpose of buying. Unsure, how to gauge their hours. I find this frustrating as a buyer. Especially, since my hours to visit this store are limited. Thinking they need to train a younger crew for those days the older gals need a day off. We were in our "weekend gear"...shorts, ball caps, flip flops. Upon walking in, I did notice some really beautiful things. I adore old furniture and several things caught my eye. The lady working there never greeted us, never asked us if she could help with anything. Another older looking couple came in, and she immediately asked what kind of items they were looking for...and was extremely friendly. This was very unsettling to me. When they left, she yelled out "Thank you for coming in...have a great weekend!" As we were walking around and chatting about different pieces, my fiance saw her roll her eyes at us. I found a fantastic retro chair that didn't have a price on it. She was at her desk and I went up and asked how much it was. She quoted me a price. I then mentioned that I saw some fabric swatches on a shelf and asked if she had anyone who did reupholstering...and she said "no those are just mine". As we left...no thank you, nothing. She obviously thought we were too young, and too broke to afford anything in that store. It was all I could do to keep from walking back in there to tell that woman that I had enough money in the bank to buy anything I wanted in that store...but will never return for any reason. Worst service I have ever received. It was insulting.

I could not believe the price. (thought it was a mistake) lol Well, I had to tell my husband about it. Of course , since it was close to valentines day he bought it for me. He bought a great monkey lamp for his office too! I love to visit often. The turnaround is amazing! We go to get great furniture for an even better price.... not to make friends... just saying.
