I was in search of an honest, reputable jeweler store to resize my wedding band and engagement…read morering. I really love my ring and it was hard finding a place I felt I could trust. Thanks to Yelp, I visited their store a few weeks ago. It is actually a really pretty store inside- quite different than how it looks from the exterior. An employee named Riley greeted me and we sat down to talk about my jewelry needs. I noticed another female employee holding a sleepy baby boy, so of course, I had to talk to him! The mother explained that this company has been in business for over 40 years. FORTY! She is actually the granddaughter in law to the owners. I love how it is a family run business that obviously provides great service to be in business for so long. They explained the process to resize the ring and were transparent about pricing since they would have to separate my rings that were soldered together to be resized. I was able to pick up my ring today and it fits perfectly! They cleaned it up nicely and also checked the diamond prongs. I love being able to wear my ring again! Thank you, Gold N Carats! I will definitely return and refer others to you!

I had a very disappointing experience working with Yesenia Viesca. Her attitude was unprofessional…read moreand dismissive throughout our interaction. Instead of explaining options clearly or offering support, she spoke in a condescending manner that made the process uncomfortable and frustrating. What is even more concerning is that the company continues to employ her despite multiple similar complaints. Additionally, customers are asked to leave reviews while still waiting on loan approval, which raises serious concerns about the authenticity and timing of the positive reviews you may see. When you're dealing with something as important as a loan, professionalism, respect, and clear communication matter. Unfortunately, that was not my experience here. I would strongly recommend looking into other companies or representatives who treat clients with basic courtesy and professionalism.

Although her watch needed nothing more than a new battery, Mr. Giraldo checked everything out and cleaned it up, inside and out - at no additional charge. Old fashioned service that is rarely seen these days. Al Giraldo is wonderfully easy to work with. I began working with Mr. Giraldo in 2020 while he was dealing with two business challenges that would have been my undoing. As if the Pandemic weren't enough, Al Momentum's shop in Preston Royal was ravaged by the October 2019 tornado that tore through the heart of North Dallas. While the building with his shop is being restored, Mr. Giraldo works out of an apartment across Noel Road from the Galleria, where he meets with customers by appointment in the building's well-lighted lobby with comfortable seating. My two dealings with Mr. Giraldo have been worthy of recommendation. I look forward to benefitting from his craft in the future.
