I was put in contact with Beavers Contracting Services via Floor and Decor. On Monday Nick from Beavers came to measure and give me an estimate on a 305 sq ft sunroom. He was one of three businesses that I contacted for estimates. He was courteous and professional and told me that he would send me an estimate later in the day or Tuesday. Tuesday came and went. I called the office and asked the receptionist if I could speak with Nick. She was just about to transfer me when she asked for my number and Nick would call me shortly. It is now Thursday and I have heard nothing from Nick or anyone from Beavers Contracting Services. This lack of contact speaks volumes about the lack of professional integrity of Nick and the company he represents. If they are this unresponsive to a potential customer, it casts a big shadow on their efficiency, quality of work, and professionalism. Did some changes and found that they just ran electrical wires through the Sheetrock. I texted Jim and he sent his guy out to fix the issue. But, when I removed the light to install cabinets in the laundry room I seen the same bad insulation. He just put the light in and didn't put an electrical box in like there should have been from the beginning. Jim now doesn't respond to my text. read more

I had damage from water in my shower and decided to remodel it the way I wanted instead of just fixing the problem and then going back later. Our neighborhood Facebook page recommended Andro Beaver and Assoc the most. Jim came over and gave us a spectacular quote for the work needed and we started the project as soon as the insurance money came through. Jim and is crew worked tirelessly for days on end to get the job done. They made small tweaks and intricate details to make it beautiful and modern the way I described. I'm not an expert on design so I gave them the green light to make it gorgeous with little input from me and they blew it out of the park. For the work they put in I am forever grateful to have found such a knowledgeable trustworthy company. We will always look to them for our remodeling needs hands down. I really wish we could submit a nice review for Jim & Niki Beavers. Unfortunately, the experience with their company in regard to the project we hired their company for was nothing short of painful. 1. They do not perform their own work or employ their own crews. They sub jobs out to independents they know. Ours was an installer named Raphael and a couple of his laborers that work for him. While Raphael was very nice and (he himself) took time to do a good job (The 3 stars for work quality is all for Raphael), his laborers were like bulls in a china cabinet. Many things they messed up and Raphael would have to fix, but only after my husband and I called it to their attention. 2. The person supposed to be overseeing our job was nothing short of pitiful. He only showed up to bring extra supplies to Raphael (trash bags, tile leveling clips...ect). He neglected to even plan for the disposal of the old tile they were breaking up. They literally used my personal 5X8 trailer to dump all the debris into and then I HAD TO ACTUALLY USE MY OWN TRUCK TO GO DUMP THE TRASH AT THEIR DUMPSTER. And I paid them to do this job?? No discount received for my time, use of trailer and truck. 3. Destroyed our toilet and more importantly toilet flange. Instead of unbolting the toilet like a normal person would, the install team rocked the toilet side to side (yes, the toilet was being replaced with a new one). The problem was that when rocking the toilet they destroyed the plastic toilet flange. This required them to have to have a plumber (Kevin) come and replace the toilet flange. (Kevin is a solid individual, no BS, no lies. I will use Kevin for any future plumbing needs for sure.) Kevin even said "Who the hell takes a toilet up like that!!!" So with all this going on, we ended up having no toilets to use as the install team decided to remove our only remaining working toilet. We had to spend the night in a hotel (at Beaver's expense). 4. Destroyed baseboard: The laborer using the power hammer to break the old tile up slipped and hit a baseboard in our laundry room breaking it in 2 pieces. Understandable, it happens. The problem.....they tried to hide it by putting it back in place with liquid nails and hoped we would not catch it. However, we did catch it and replaced the base boards ourselves in the laundry room which we would just subtract from what we owed Beavers at the end. 5. Carpet to tile transitions: We kept carpet in all of our bedrooms, however the rest of the house was the tile job. In the doorways from carpet to tile we needed to have transition moldings put down. DJ insisted that they just run the tile right up to the carpet and that's the way its done. Well, we don't know if that's where its done where he comes from, but we prefer not to cut our foot on the tile edge or to have (in some places) a quarter inch gap between the carpet and the tile. The end game: With all of these problems, we had pretty much written off any more dealings with DJ (project manager) so Jim Beavers came out to the job (basically to collect the money we still owed). Jim made nice with us and tried to smooth things over by promising a handful of things, most importantly to send a carpet guy to address the carpet to tile issue and cover for DJ saying "He is overworked and I'm going to send him for a vacation". Say what??? I paid Jim the balance owed on his word....(my mistake). Have not heard from Niki or Jim, carpet guy has never shown up as promised and now we are being ghosted with no response to our repeat emails. Once they were paid.....we no longer existed. Do yourself a favor and look past Beavers to a more reputable company. read more

Scheduled the appointment for an estimate. Same day of the appointment (less than 10 minutes before the appt), I got a message that the guy was sick and so we rescheduled for today. I get it people get sick, I just wish I had more than 9 minutes notice , I was very understanding. Today I stayed home all afternoon waiting for the rescheduled appointment. No call no show. An hour after appointment, I called the office and was told they are checking if he was still coming as it was a long drive to my house and then haven't heard anything since. So they wasted my time not once but twice. And delayed my project a couple of weeks. Very disappointed. read more

Scheduled an estimate with Beavers Contracting Services and someone was out within a few days. We got an itemized estimate for multiple projects in our home, we scheduled for about 2 weeks out on a Monday morning. Sunday evening prior to our appointment date we received an email at around 8 pm stating the crew couldn't make it the next morning because they are sick. I understand people fall ill and cannot complete a task, but sending an email only less than 12 hours prior is very unprofessional. Approximately 2 months later we tried emailing and calling the company to re-schedule with no replies or call backs. Pricing was competitive with other companies and their ability to complete multiple projects in the home would've been perfect. I am not sure you could have a happier customer than I am. Jim, Nicki, Nick, James, Buddy, Louis and one other person were the best people I have ever had out to do work with me. They treated us like family. From the beginning the came out the next day after I talked to them to give me a quote, the quote came in the next morning. They arrived on time every day they were here. When they left at the end of the day everything was cleaned up. They were considerate of the fact that we had to continue doing our work from the house and kept noise to a minimum. Jim and Nick stayed right on top of everything that was being done and asked me multiple times if there was anything that still needed to be done. Nicki called the next day to be sure we were happy with the work done. The final price came in exactly where the quote was even though I know they incurred some additional charges. I have been working on projects since the beginning of 2020. The job they did had already been done once so badly it had to be done again. I had multiple people come out during this time that said they could do the job and once they got here they either said they couldn't do the job but wanted to do other things, never sent me a quote or sent a quote on only part of the job that needed to be done. I'm pretty sure I probably drove them crazy with my last project, because I'm so picky and focused on the details.
