Fuck this place do not do business with them they are shady. I bought what I thought was an rsx oem wheel because thats what was shown on the listing, it never showed a picture of a steel spare rim which I ended up receiving after I purchased said listing online. I could return the stupid spare rim they shipped using their bait and switch tactics but shipping cost more than the $96 im now out purchasing the stupid steelie spare they shipped to me. This Beaver purchase proved a horrible experience for me personally. I looked online for a replacement engine for my niece's 2010 Honda Civic LX 1.8, which had a cracked #2 cylinder liner. There were quite a few engines on offer...ranging from $500+ E-Bay and wrecking yard models to $1200-$1500 extra low miles direct import Japanese units. I went with these guys, (despite them being almost $300) higher than the cheapest E-Bay option. I did that because I was told they were a good, reputable place to purchase Honda parts from in NC. The original engine purchased was a relative low miles unit, which I had shipped directly to the install facility. On installation and initial startup, a coolant weep from a hairline crack in the block was discovered. The installation facility notified me and then immediately reached out to Beaver. The car never left the shop. The delay was an expensive inconvenience. One week later, a much higher mileage engine was sent out to the facility. It was again installed after removal of their first defective unit...(two complete installation charges) because of their defective part sent. Things happen! I'm not unreasonable but the fact remains, I paid for a "good" engine. If it is not and I incur massive additional costs as a result, cost sharing would be the least they should offer...(either discount the engine or pick up a part of the installation). I was prepared to absorb much of it, despite not being at fault. These guy were having none of it. They completely absolved themselves from ANY of those costs...despite sending a faulty engine. They refused to let me speak to the owner and acted as if they'd done me a favor by sending out a much higher mileage engine. I did not beg for that engine. I paid money for it...money I could have spent elsewhere. read more

I had been looking for a replacement seat for my Acura and my searches had shown a great looking one at Beaver's. I happened to be travelling through NC, so I called to be sure that the seat was in stock. After getting confirmation, I detoured to Kannapolis. Once there, they went to get the seat and found it was not there. Poor systems - they had sold it a few weeks before and never updated their records. The silver lining was that after some searching, we found a seat that was nice on the bottom (the part that was torn on mine) but trashed on the top. They sold it to me cheap. I had to disassemble the seat to fix it, which was a pain, but it worked out in the end. read more

I bought a part from them on their eBay page. They shipped the package out a day after they "marked" it as shipped, and after I pointed this out and told them I was not pleased that the item would be missing its estimated delivery date (clearly stated on the auction page), the seller went absolutely berserk. He reversed the shipment, refunded my money and told me he didn't want to do business anymore. They have the worst customer service I've ever experienced and do not car one bit about pleasing the customer. They blamed everything on me and refused to cooperate. We have bought 3 Hondas at Beaver's. None of them had any serious issues ever. One is still in use, one traded in with 241,000 miles on it. The last one my daughter overheated, not their fault. They even came and picked us up one time when we were having problems with one of the cars. I have never had anything but a good experience with Beaver's. read more

I waited a couple of months after buying a car from Beavers to make sure it was a good one. And, yes, the 2002 Civic has been a great purchase. Beaver's also sells on eBay as "hondaman". We bought a wire harness from them & it never came. I am taxi-ing my son to work and back until it comes in. I finally logged in thru Paypal & got their # since the auction disappeared from my eBay. They said the harness was damaged & they had cancelled order, no apologies, never called me, & said *I* had to accept the cancellation for it to go thru. I called Paypal back after work & they showed it to just be initialized that day - 9 days after the purchase....I was not happy with the way this went. The parts guy tried to say they were calling my sons # on the shipping label, but my # is on eBay and PayPal, as well as my email address, so any type of communication would have been nice. Also today is the 9th & It's STILL PENDING. Paypal said it could be "bc funds have to be available in their bank for them to capture it". I don't know about all that jazz, but a simple email would have changed my view A LOT read more

They own a salvage yard. I would not recommend them. Overpriced used parts and some are non-working. No refunds either.
