I had multiple companies come out and give me pricing and their opinion/recommendations (all three were highly rated on Yelp and google). Tyler came out on the day and time specified, he was communicative, nice and easy to deal with. He really took the time to look at everything, crawled in both attic spaces and outside on my 2 story hip roof and gave me his opinion and photos to support his recommendations and pricing. All 3 companies gave me a different scope of work, however i am in the construction industry and Tylers scope was the most on point and he also listened to what my needs and wants were and kept that in mind when giving me his recommendations. They didnt try and sell me a re-roof (which a lot of companies will even if you dont need it) and I liked this and found them to be honorable in this regard. I found their price to be competitive for a company that is licensed and insured, and the work they did was done well and supervised and checked. What was most important to me was not only the work done, but if any of it failed, what their response would be and how it would be handled. Can i get in touch with them again? Are they responsive after the work was completed? Well, i recently found out. I had 2 leaks this past week that have been getting worse. I was obv upset because i thought it was the roof. I called Tyler, and he told me he would be out the next day to take a look. He came when he said he would, climbed up in the attic and took a good look around, and found that it is my chimney leaking. He made my life easier by referred me to a stucco guy whos coming out this afternoon. I like that they are not pushy, they make me feel well informed as to what they think and WHY via photos, answering all of my questions and very easy to deal with and get in touch with (i hate chasing contractors!) During our phone conversation he stated 1/3 down would be required. But, the update quote stated 1/2 down. I requested an estimate to repair roof damage that was causing a leak. The completed work was a basic patch that fell well below reasonable expectations, as shown in the photos. When I raised my concerns, Joe Taylor, the owner of Walsh Roofing, stated that the task has been completed because a repair using all new materials would have cost more and that I likely would have cancelled the work. I fail to see how receiving a reasonable quote for a professional repair would result in canceling a job. I interviewed many roofing companies and decided on Revolution for several reasons. First and foremost, Andrew and his team discovered issues with my roof that other roofing companies had failed to point out. I had a drainage issue with an almost completely flat portion of the roof. Andrew and his team came up with a solution that will prevent pooling and drainage issues in the future. Second, Andrew was quick to respond to questions and gather answers and information necessary for me to make an informed decision. Other companies failed to respond in a timely manner, if at all. Third, Andrew and the team took time to come out and visit the house several times prior to replacement, take pictures, have meetings formulating a plan, and developing a solution for a roof that will last for decades. Once the replacement began, the team started early and worked late, to ensure the process moved quickly. Each night the roof was secured to protect from any possible rain that might occur through the evening. We wanted Andersen windows made with FIBREX material and we discovered McKinley Pro is the only "Premier" Certified Andersen contractor in Central Florida (which I called Andersen to verify) that sells and installs them, and they offer 0% financing! From contract signing, measure, order placement & install, it could not have been a better experience and their communication is fantastic.
