Live Edge Vail did an amazing job--total perfection--on cutting a piece of butcher block to size…read morefor a custom project. Bruce is committed to a high level of detail and quality--he sanded and edged the block so that all edges are perfectly matching. Communication about timeframe, drop-off, and pick-up went smoothly. Estimate was accurate. My expectations were definitely exceeded, and I would work with Live Edge Vail on woodworking projects in the future.

I can not speak more positively about the whole experience of working with Live Edge Vail. We…read morerecently gutted our entire kitchen and family room, taking down a half wall, replacing cabinets and appliances, relocating a window, and having an island built. For the island countertop, we turned to Bruce, the owner of Live Edge Vail, who designed and delivered the island countertop in solid walnut measuring 82" x 27" x 2" which is quite simply, the crown jewel of our kitchen. From start to finish, Bruce worked with us to discuss the specifications and describe the process, select the wood, apply his craftsmanship to ensure a flawless product, and ship it to us securely packaged to ensure that our time frame requirements were met. We now have a one-of-a-kind product that totally meets our needs and adds a great "pop" to the kitchen that will add value when it comes time to sell. Our friends who have seen it without exception "rave" about the beautiful appearance and uniqueness of the piece. Should the need arise we will not hesitate to call on Live Edge Vail for future custom woodwork.

Four galleries in 4 attached spaces with one name... redefines "onestopshop"…read more.. 1. "Western" Gallery includes lots of cowboys and horses and landscapes with cowboys and horses. Frederick Hart sculptures, Robert Hagan, David Devary paintings. 2. "Nature" Gallery includes landscapes and water and trees and nature. 3. "Museum" Gallery includes museum quality images, museum quality artists, museum quality frames. Artists include Dali, Miro, Goldfinger. 4. "Abstract" Gallery includes vibrant and pure color with light bleeding out of the paintings. Favorite artist: Britten. Brilliant. I frequently have friends and clients who want me to help them choose art. They know I am an artist and that I am an art lover. I am always looking for great art, great artists, great galleries... and I have opinions. Josephine, the Gallery Director, welcomed me with a big smile and questions about what brings me to her gallery...? She runs the place so if you are lucky enough to be there when she is there, engage her in a conversation about art. RE #1: seeing the price people are willing to pay to watch the cowboyhatted Marlboro Man ride of into the sunset just boggles my mind. If you like that stuff, C. Anthony seems to have a great array. RE #2: quality oils, large canvases, beautiful images. RE #3: research this stuff before you buy it. "Dali" is a big name but at the end of his life he really sold out. He became a "signature" artist, much like a worn out football player who signs footballs to make money when he is retired. I understand that he would have someone else pull prints of his work, hundreds and hundreds of them, then he would sign his name, and it was like printing money. This is why it is not hard or expensive to now buy an "original" Dali. Many galleries rely on you not knowing this information. When I see a Dali in a gallery, one eyebrow always rises, uncontrollably. They also had an unsigned Renoir etching and it is very expensive, but ask the question, because the answer determines the value... "When was the etching pulled? Where? Did Renoir pull it? Was he alive when it was pulled?" Lots of people spend lots of money on this "Museum" stuff. Buyer beware. I did not have an opportunity to engage Josephine about these issues because she was welcoming a potential client. I am sure she has done some research. If you are considering the Museum gallery, ask... "Were these prints pulled by the artist?" The artist "Goldfinger" does to classical art and realism what Milli Vanilli did to music. RE #4: Currently featured artist Britten creates works that allow saturated color and light to bleed from the canvas. Her work is beautiful and powerful and lovely and needs to be appreciated and discovered by more people. If you are debating between a Britten or a Goldfinger, stop debating.

Do not do business with the Company! I placed an order with them that was supposed to be delivered…read morein 2-3 months and it's been 9 months, I've paid over 50% for my order and the Company refuses to respond to my e-mails concerning the status of the order. Huge integrity issues with this Company and they have "company policy" which contradicts their own contract terms! I contracted Thurston (also dba DC&A, Discount Cabinets and Appliances and Kitchens of Colorado) for a kitchen cabinet order in March of 2017 and the contract had a delivery date of June 2017. It's almost November 2017 and nothing has arrived (Over 9 months since I ordered the cabinets!). Thurston has not acknowledged any responsibility for not delivering the cabinets timely yet they continue to hound me for payment on the final balance even though nothing has arrived. They continue to promise that the cabinets will be in "shortly", "next week", even "tomorrow" but nothing has been delivered. To make it worse they are requiring a final "cash" payment to be made to them before the cabinets arrive to them and have indicated they will not deliver the cabinets to me until I pay them cash for the full remaining balance. This payment policy is not in the contract that I signed but according to my sales rep it's "company policy" which they can't make any exceptions to. I've recommended to them that they should make their "Company Policy" align with their contract terms! I can't delay the cabinet delivery any more than it has already been delayed so with extreme reluctance, I agreed to make a final payment via a credit card (to give me some sort of recourse if they don't deliver) even before I have any opportunity to inspect the cabinets and before they deliver the cabinets to my residence but they have not responded to that offer or given any indication to me as to when they will deliver my cabinets. They just want cash and they've gone completely silent on me (other than payment requests) presumably until I give them cash. I thought this was a reputable company but ultimately this company has the most rotten business practices that I've ever experienced. On four occasions, I've requested evidence from them that they actually place the cabinet order with their manufacturer but they refuse to respond to that request - this request was made after I found out in late April 2017 that they forgot to place my order with their manufacturer after I signed a contract with them and gave them a 50% down payment. I have numerous other complaints about this company but the lack of performance and refusal to refund my deposit is the biggest issue at this point. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for kitchen or bathroom cabinets!
