It's a beauty supply . Get what you need n get out shelves are always stocked . If they don't have what I need I venture else where. The owners have always been nice to me . This is the worst place to spend your money. No one should be so desperate to buy fake hair that they should subject themselves to the utter disrespect meted out at this store. Years ago, I went to this store to buy a wig for my god daughter. I was followed around the store, watched and no one was helpful in any way. I vowed never to go back. Fast forward to 2023, my cousin flew into Texas to visit me and wanted to go to a Beauty Supply store. I gave her directions to another beauty supply store and the keys to my car. She got lost and ended up at Beauty Town. I had given her $50 to buy me an afro puff ponytail. She came back with 2 different ones. I liked one but the other seemed more suited to a child. The purchase was made int he late evening and the next morning we went back to the store to have the childish one exchanged for the other one I liked. Neither of the packages were opened. We politely approached the cashier with both puffs and the receipt stamped less than 14 hours previously. We were bluntly told it could not be exchanged. I asked why. She said they did not exchange ponytails. I pointed out it was not opened or used and I was not asking for a refund but merely to exchange for another that was more suited to me. Then she told me not to shout. I had not shouted at any time. This made me upset because she was stereotyping me instead of offering customer service. I asked to speak to her manager, who incidentally was sitting out of site to the left of the cashier. The cashier had been glancing to her left throughout the interchange. She informed me that her manager would tell me the same thing. I told her no problem; I still want to speak to her manager. And I waited. Eventually the manager came out of her hiding place, and I told her what I wanted to do (exchange the item.) She said they did not do exchanges. Why would a store not exchange a completely unused item within 14 hours of its purchase? I told her I was not leaving until I got a satisfactory answer to my question. Eventually, she told me she will do the exchange but do not tell anyone. Instead of first extending customer service, this store, this employee, this manager, choose to give the worst possible service. I will never shop there again, and I have told my cousin she is never to spend money at that store again when she comes to visit. In all the years that store has occupied a space in Baytown, they have been the worst place for beauty supplies. It is high time that the people who patronize that store, stop spending their money there. For a store that caters to a particular ethnic group, they still have not gotten the message as yet, that without the money spent by that ethnic group, they will not have a successful business or any business at all. We have to be more discerning when spending our dollars, and more so when the place we spend said dollars think we are trash. read more

This place it's a 0 rating!! Trashy place! The owner is very unprofessional, rude and unhelpful. She stares at you like you are going to steal the whole store. I "Don't" recommend this place to anybody! Also, she discriminates everyone that comes in to her store and bad talks. The products are bad quality! read more

Worst customer service I have ever experienced in this industry. I chose a certain style and was given another one. When I got home I took it out and realized it wasn't the right one. So I returned it in the same package. They saw it was opened and refused to exchange it. It was one day and never used. The owner had the worst way of showing her refusal that I have no reason to ever go there again. I'll order online at least I know I can exchange something I don't want with a smile! read more
