Three months later, Laura cancelled my contract in February 2024 on the basis that she had another wedding come up the same day. She suggested I contact three random makeup artists to replace her due to her inability to hold up contractual agreements and inefficiency. Now I am scrambling to find a new makeup artist 8 months before my wedding. Laura's consolation for bailing on me was a $10 gift card to Starbucks and a "good luck with your wedding".
