Booked online root color $70 and blow dry $45 and ended up paying $165. FYI- blowdry does included shampoo added extra charge and root color does not include color added extra charge for the color which os ridiculous and blowdry they increased the price and does not include iron work all this and not one person or hairstylist said anything and the front desk person who is lost automatically charge my cc without asking me and when i asked foe receipt she could not give me one and said charges were all recently higher so what you see online is not the real prices they should changes this. For what they charge I can go to a high end salon were i will get offered something to drink, nicer amenities a massage in scalp during shampoo and better service. I only come all the way to this salon to do my eyebrows with Xochlit aka Suchee. She is the BOMB.COM at keeping my eyebrows just right. I love that she lays listens to what I want and gives me the results I request. Obviously she can't make miracle happens but if she can't give you exactly what you want because you don't have enough hair or whatnot she'll shape them as close and tells you where you need to let more hair grow. Suchee has her own private room at the back of the salon; she only does walk ins and no appointments. The staff at the front of salon greet you very nice and direct you to the back where Suchee is. I've never done my hair here so I really can't tell you how they are. What I do know is that the facility is kept overall clean. Their music isn't loud like many salons. read more

This is for hair and a specific stylist. I had not reviewed because I felt bad, however my experience was SO BAD it is important to make sure you get the right person. There are many stylists there and Gustavo had been recommended to me by someone with curly hair who styles it straight.. My hair is not straight nor is my daughters. I figured I would try it out. He cut my daughters hair, she wanted a pixie cut but ended up getting a mullet. He just couldn't bring himself to cutting the back. Dealing with Latinas who rarely if ever cut their hair short, I could in a way understand his reluctance. My daughter ended up getting her hair fixed in Louisville, KY with my sisters stylist. I should have known better. I wanted Annalynne McCord's hair (an actress on 90210 with very curly hair like mine). When I showed him the picture his first response was negative. He told me it was STYLED that way. I understand that, however my curls are exactly like that when I wash, add products and shake out my hair after letting it dry naturally. I just wanted those awesome layers to release the curl. My hair was long, VERY long. To my waist when wet, so I wanted it shorter, I didn't want it short, short, I wanted the last layer to my shoulders. He gave me a god awful cut, I had to go back to get it fixed. He was LIVID telling me this is what I had asked for. IT WAS NOT. It was a mullet. It was awful, and I had been crying all weekend. In the end, I ended up with an afro. My hair was only 3 inches long when he was done "fixing" it. My Disney Marathon pic here on Yelp shows it after months of growth. I wasn't going to review, but a Yelp friend (John S) pointed out that it is to save other heads. He is right. So here it is. read more

I will give them 5 starts for the waxing staff as they all do a fantastic job! But 3 stars over all, below is why. I recommend Andy, Yahima, and Vanessa. All three do a great job. Reason why this is not a 5 rating: Front desk and management. One is never welcomed when walking into this place. They continue to raise their prices (I have been doing my eyebrows with them since they were at the mall---10 years more or less, cost was about $8, now they are charging $14----crazy inflation) and all this would be fine if they made up for it in customer service, but they never make one feel like a valued costumer, despite many of us being customers for years and years. I took a few months off, as I had found someone who did a good job and was closer to home, thing was, that she was not consistent with doing them well, and ended up messing up my eye brows BIG TIME. I have been letting my eyebrows grow, and today, Andy did a GREAT job and cleaning them up, and giving them room to continue to grow. Great experience overall. I just wish it were closer (35 mins from my house), and I also wish their customer service would improve. read more

A bit on the pricey side, I come here a lot because I get my eye brows done with Sharai , she is amazing if she is not there then I go with Vanessa only few people i trust with my eyebrows. Eyebrows are $14. ouch. I also buy my living conditioning here "Salerm" for $16 which online you can find it for $10-12 but I usually notice last minute i need more so I end up coming here to get it. read more

I've been coming here for over five years now but customer service needs to improve this is not the first time I come to do my eyebrows and they leave me waiting for over half an hour. I even called today prior to walking in to make sure someone was available to do my eyebrows and they told me yes. I came in and they had me waiting for over 15 minutes I decided to ask why I was waiting so long and they told me cause my eyebrow lady wasn't there yet. It really is upsetting they made me waist 30 minutes of my time driving there and waiting after I had called to make sure someone was available and I was told yes. To get there and have me waiting and then tell me the lady isn't there that she is 20 minutes away. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! I've been here a handful of times and I'm going to go ahead and agree with half of these reviews that service here is pretty rancid. Upon walking in, no one will greet you and the girls at the front desk will look at you as if you just brought upon the Bubonic plague. You're left wondering - "Is there something on my face?" Don't fret girlfriend, there isn't. They're just rude. Everyone here is just flat out rude. I only come to do my eyebrows. I only come to see Andy. That's it, no one else touches my face because despite his less than tasteful demeanor this guy knows what he's doing. Upon my first meeting with him I didn't know how to feel. He walked up to me, did not utter a word and then proceeded to sashay away. Are we in an episode of RuPauls? Is this THE secret at Beauty Secret? Does my weave look right? He then stuck his head out of a room and "psst'ed" me in. Uhm....okay? I sat down and waited. He got into his groove, set up his work station, plugged out his headphones and asked: "What chu want?" I told him- "Keep them thick and clean" and he did just that. He was tender to the touch, extremely detailed and my eyebrows looked great. I like to think that the energy it would take to be personable is put into his eyebrow sculpting skills. So it all pans out. The end result is worth it. This isn't your homey salon. You won't come here to let loose and kick it with the girls. You're in, you're out and you tip accordingly because God redeems the kind hearted. So, you get three stars. This place has all the fixings for 5 stars, but the service just isn't there and that's extremely vital considering this is what people are looking for when going to a salon. I've been going to get my eyebrows done by the Beauty Secret girls since the days they were doing them at their kiosks in Dolphin Mall. My personal favorite is Mariana. She is amazing, down to earth and to boot she's amazing at making my eyebrows look amazing. Every where I go everyone ask me where I go of course I direct them here. No appointment needed to get the eyebrows done. However, Saturdays are their busiest day. So either go really early or later in the afternoon you can be in and out with a few minutes. read more

I know this isn't going to get Sochi fired- nor is it the point of my review. I mean hey, if you can get by being rude and nasty to people then, awesome, good for you. My point of this is to warn you against Sochi doing your eyebrows. I had been going there for over 4 years. When Sochi joined, I gave her a shot even though she is extremely rude and talks to anyone and everyone who passes by the hall while she's doing your eyebrows. She even talks bad about other customers. Many times she would mess up my eyebrows but we're creatures of habit and their pricing is decent so I kept going- making sure to remember to let her know in advance not to do them too thin. But time and time again she wouldn't care and just wouldn't listen to what I wanted until I said, no more- I'm not giving her another penny of my money. I'd rather pay triple to someone who cares and is going to listen. Other than that, the salon is good. Don't go to Daniel for a balayage because you won't get one - you'll get Hialeah highlights, instead. Thomas is awesome! He is super nice and sweet- always greets all customers and is extremely professional. The manager is also really nice. read more

The front desk service, however, gets ZERO stars and leaves much to be desired. The front desk girls were so rude the last time that I was there, that I swore they went out if their way to be nasty. Nasty!!!!!!! To the owner of this place, the front desk service needs an overhaul. Remember, they are the first and last impression that your customers leave with. I have been a loyal client for over 7 years and only returned because of Scarleth and the amazing work she does. However, outside of the eyebrow service, the people are rude and unprofessional. I've visited this salon on multiple occasions, I've never had bad service or a bad treatment, but on my most recent visit I was kept waiting 45 minutes for my appointment with Daniel. I could see Daniel walking around, drinking coffee and talking about clients with other clients. I asked the receptionist if Daniel used to act like that with other clients that are waiting, and she said yes. When Daniel finally looked to my face he asked if my hair was clean, and I said that it was clean but I'd like to wash before doing a hair cut. Daniel cut my hair in 12 minutes, and told the receptionist to charge for the hair wash in a bad way. I paid for hair cut, hair wash and I even gave a good tip, and I did that not because I liked the service but to show that I was not there because the money. I went to cut my hair with Daniel because I saw on Instagram that he cuts hair nicely. I usually go to a salon to relax and have a good time, but this time I left felling mistreat from an unprofessional hairdresser. It was clear to me that Daniel is not looking for new clients, and for that reason I do not recommend him to anyone. read more

I've been going here for almost a year for my Eyebrows and recently started getting my hair done there also. Margarita is the BEST when it comes with hair. I go to Margarita every week to get my hair done. She does a wash and blow in 45 minites and my hair comes out amazing. I have have naturally curly hair and she gets it bone straight and with volume. Also i did highlights 3 months ago with Margarita and they came out amazing. I also get my eyebrows done with Yiema whos also amazing too. I absolutely love this place. read more

I currently live in Chicago and have spent a fortune traveling from one place to another in hopes of finding a replacement for my eyebrows with no luck! Went there a second time about 1 1/2 ago, forgot to post about my experience after it had transpired but I feel it's necessary for them to know how they lost a client. My dissatisfaction is mainly due to lack if professionalism at front desk. For one the girls that work up front do not speak English .. I understand Doral is a predominately Spanish area however there are residents that do not speak Spanish..they do exist, the fact that this business does not recognize that is ridiculous. Proper service would mean that they are willing to cater to not just Hispanic culture but also the non Hispanic culture as well. I just felt that since I didn't speak Spanish I was such an inconvenience to the girl. Besides that, when I arrived she didn't greet me, let alone greet me with a smile and say "how can I help you?" She was more concerned with chatting it up with a co worker. I had my eyebrows done by a different person that time (not Scarleth) and she didn't not speak English either.. To sum this up she took too much out of an area I had already been trying to grow in and my lovely arch was more straightened out, so my eyebrows didn't have the nice curve. I guess I shouldn't have assumed that even though Scarleth was not doing them that all the other eyebrow specialist would provide the same quality of service. I obviously have not returned and found a fabulous place "Spatakular Nails" that so far 2 times have remained consistent in the quality and customer service they provide far exceeds the rude etiquette I received from Beauty Secrets. read more

Wow, I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews but not at all surprised that the few they DO have are all 5 star reviews. I have been getting my eyebrows done with them for years, since they had just a couple of carts in Dolphin Mall, and I can tell you that the owner, Eddie, is always working to make the experience better and better. I go at least once a month to get my eyebrows done by Mariana and won't let anyone else near them! Even after moving to NYC, I'd wait until I came back to Miami to make sure they didn't get butchered by someone else. I've also had my eyelashes done by her and she is always beyond amazing. She's super friendly but, most importantly, professional and she knows what she's doing so you can have a quick conversation and catch up and be confident that you're simultaneously getting the best job in town. I also had her do my makeup for New Year's Eve and everyonee complimented me on it! I used to go to Mac but even my friend's aunt, who is a makeup artist herself, complimented me on my makeup when Mariana did it! Finally, I also got my hair done but I forgot the stylist's name (she's Cuban and has bleached blonde hair and I would totally recommend her) and it was also great! I had curls done - mind you, I have super sleek straight hair that is super hard to style and when I've had curls done before they usually fall flat within a few hours - and they were super nice, tight curls. She teased my hair first to make sure they stayed and they didn't fall flat until I finally fell asleep at the end of the night so I would definitely recommend this salon all around! read more

I went here for the first time today after reading the other positive reviews on yelp. This place is great and I am going to continue to go here! I got my eyebrows done by vanessa and haircut by gustavo. Both were great. My eyebrows were 12 and my haircut was 30...although I didnt have him blow dry as I was on my way to the pool later. I normally go to haircuttery for haircuts but omgsh I just blew out my hair myself and I can really see the difference!
