Although they could accommodate me on a walk-in basis, I can't really recommend this pedicure place. It didn't feel clean. The tools were not cleaned from person to person. They were just taken out of an open bin. And although I asked for a flip-flops they had none so I walked out with bare feet. The price was more than I would expect for this type of pedicure. I've come here before and had a good experience but came in today for a full set, the lady was helping the shop she said, I got a French tip on short squared nails, the nails themselves were not shaped properly she was in such a hurry, after not taking any time and giving really bad nails that she priced at 90$ i asked her to take off the color, she then cut my fingers and made comments about my cuticle being to long- she never cut my cuticles down, she left my fingers with two cuts and bleeding, my hands have nail polish all over them from her work. read more

I have been a customer here for a few years and I usually have a very pleasant experience. Until now. I was enjoying my pedicure, eyes closed, Brian Adams serenading my ear, feet leisurely soaking in warm water, completely relaxed. I began to hear a little commotion going on with the customer in the next chair over. She was a very sweet woman, a regular, always personable and friendly each time I have seen her interact with myself and others. So imagine my surprise when, after this lady paid for her pedicure, the employee who worked on her, speaking in Vietnamese to her boss May, accused her of not tipping. The customer insisted she had given $5 extra as tip, but the employee continued to shake her head no. Ok, let's stop here. A tip is VOLUNTARY, a sign of appreciation for a job well done. In other words, it is not required; it is earned! You cannot force somebody to tip. And how rude to shame this lady into giving more money! I mean, they were acting as if she had stolen money out the register! So the owner, May, came over to see what was going on. The customer once again explained what happened, that she had tipped the worker. She handed her $40 for the pedicure and an exra $5 in tip. But was now basically being called a liar to her face! And can you beieve it, May sided with her employee!! And all of this is happening right in front of the rest of us. I was in complete shock that these employees had the audacity to publicly humiliate this regular client! I mean, why would she lie about leaving a tip??! I was sitting right next to her, I saw with my own eyes that she counted out 5 separate $1 bills as a tip. This is a perfect example of gaslighting. A failed attempt to take advantage, AND PRAISE THE LORD this lady was not falling for it. I'm just appalled! I bet you anything she won't be returning. And you know what? Neither am I! If that could happen to her, it could happen to any of us. Which is why I now take my hard earned money to a grateful salon, full of respectful workers who earn their tips. Witnessing this horrific drama prevented me from giving them a tip that day! So ha! and you can bet your bottom dollar that I intend to share this story with anybody who is thinking about coming to this salon. Believe me, people ask me ALL THE TIME where I get my nails done. And you know what I'm gonna say the next time? "NOT AT BEAUTY NAILS! DO NOT GO THERE!!" I like to think I have a credible opinion in the matter, so I'm confident people will take my word for it. My technician who did a general pedicure was off to the races the entire time. Talk about being in a hurry. I went to Beauty Nails in Sonora a few weeks ago to get dip on my nails. I got the french and was very pleased at first with May's work, but once I went outside you could see that a couple of my nails still had old dip color showing through the clear french dip. She did not get all the old dip off and the worst part is, she charged me $15 just to take the old dip off. I have never paid that much anywhere in my life to take off the old stuff. She then charged me $60 for the service totaling $75 - is it me or is that a complete rip off!! With tip I paid $90. I have never paid more than $50 for dip ANYWHERE and that is including the $5 to take off the old stuff. I live in the bay area and she must think I am an idiot. Not a happy camper. Been going here for several years and after today won't be back! First strike was my last fill that came out looking like a 12 year old did it, had to come back and have it fixed the next day for which she charged me additional and had the audacity to tell me I'm too picky, ok whatever. Went in for a fill and pedi today, made an appointment. Strike 2 was the pedi. Fifteen minutes in the chair and I was done. Part of a pedicure is the massage. There was no massage whatsoever! Ok again I'll deal, I did cheap out and go for the $30 option but zero massage? For real? Strike 3, I had made an appointment for 3pm for a fill and 2 pedis, when I arrived the person with me had decided she also wanted a full set so I advised them of this. No problem. So, got the two extremely short pedis and my companion went to get her full set. Sat and waited...by this time it was 4:30 and they called the next customer who had just walked in. I quietly said something about my 3pm appointment and very loudly advised that due to bringing an extra person who wanted a full set that basically now I had to wait. Wrong... Now had she mentioned this when we first arrived I'd have dealt with it but they way I was spoken to, as if I was a child or stupid, I'm done and I let her know. Three strikes and she's out. They have gotten lazy, prices have gone up and customer service is non existent. Please do not patronize this establishment. There are plenty of other places in town! read more

If I could give 0 stars for Beauty Nails, I would. The technicians did a fine job but while she was doing my pedicure she cut my foot with a cuticle tool to the point where it started bleeding. Not only did she not even say sorry but when I shot my foot back in pain she giggled? Now, nearly two weeks after the fact my toe cut is unbelievably infected and in a lot of pain. After reading other Yelp reviews on how unsanitary their "salon" is I would assume that the tools she used were not cleaned properly and contributed to my infection. I now have to take antibiotics to heal my infected wound. I will never go back to Beauty Nails and would strongly encourage others to do the same. read more

My aunt came from Hawaii first a visit, she took my mother and my other aunt in for a pedicure which was (I'm going to say 35$ a piece. Then when they were leaving she told May that me and my daughter would be coming in for full sets(nails) and asked how much she charges and May told her between 30-70$ a piece so my aunt paid 300$ for all of us. My daughter and I went in and had our nails done and when we were leaving May told me I owed 10 more dollars. I had no idea what my aunt had already given her until I left. Very dirty. The gel light was greasy and filthy. I was filed down with a used file and was given a bowl to soak my nails in that had chunks of whoever used the bowl before me. It wasn't rinsed out even before she filled it back up for me much less being sanitized. The lady cut my cuticle and didn't wash the wound or give me a band-aid. The quats disinfectant is cloudy and diluted, no where to put dirty implements other than right there on the sink. I will NOT go back. read more
