NOT clean or sterile! Went in a few weeks back, and the man who took off my polish had so much dirt under his nails that they were black. This same man put my fingers in straight acetone to remove polish. Then he poured the used acetone into another container! The drill and all other equipment came from a box - nothing was sterilized. Another gentleman coughed and sneezed into the air - my 5-year-old son knows to do that in his elbow. Their prices are the same as my salon at home! They are lucky they are the only game in town! I saw reviewed from years ago and it was all negative reviews. Since it's the only nail salon in the southern part of LBI, I decided to still give it a try. I went in for a gel mani, regular pedi and it was not good. It took a total of 15 ish minutes. I was not expecting it to be this bad... none of my nails are the same length, there are bubbles, and the color does not cover all of the nail. I decided not to get my toes done because of how unhappy I was. I should have went to any of the nail salons on the north side with better reviews. I was really hoping to post a review saying they do not compare to my nail salon at home but they're not bad if you really need them done. I would say it's adequate. Not great, not terrible. I asked for my nails to be filed and the tech barely ran the file over my nails. My pedi was very rushed. I get a regular mani/pedi and the prices are reasonable especially for the island. I recommend calling before you go or making an appointment. I waited 40 minutes as there were only 2 techs and 2 customers who arrived just before I did. read more

Literally go ANYWHERE ELSE BESIDES HERE if you are on vacation in LBI!!!! The lady left an actual broken nail and started to do the gel and I had to tell her to file it down... I got a French manicure and she straight up did one coat of pink and one coat of white on the tip and DIDNT EVEN PUT ANY TOP COATS ON MY NAILS AT ALL. Not client service oriented- rude to my 12 year old daughter who came in to have one of her nails repaired. My daughter was polite and asking for what she wanted and the lady said she wouldn't do her nail. We are paying customers- I wasn't asking to do this for free. My sister and I came in on a Monday afternoon to get manicures. When we arrived, we had to wait as all the workers were busy with customers, which was totally okay seeing we didn't call ahead. We picked our colors and sat down. As we were waiting, 3 men came in for walk-in pedicures. The employees immediately sat them in the pedicure chairs and one by one as they finished with their current clients, they began the pedicures. Completely ignoring my sister and I who had been waiting for over 15 minutes at this point. This was the first sign that our visit here was not going to be a good one. Then, a woman came from the back of the salon and began doing my nails. She was rough, rude and clearly rushing it. Before she was done, she began my sisters nails. Again, rough and rude, so rough to the point one of my sisters fingers got cut. She did not completely file our nails, they were uneven and ragged. She also started cutting my cuticles after I repeatedly asked her not to. Our manicures were rushed and sloppy, we could have done a just as good if not better job at home. She hopped in between the two of us, and a third woman, which was extremely unprofessional. To top it all off, I witnessed them switching tools from client to client without sterilizing them multiple times. The lack of professionalism and hygiene was borderline disgusting. We called ahead for a small group to make sure we would get serviced. But when we showed up they just accepted 3 people and there were only 3 technicians. And while we got our service more people walked in so instead of asking them to wait the owners accepted them too, which meant we waited and waited and waited between scrubbing, trimming and painting. They waxed someone's eye brows while I watched from my chair! Even though we had an appointment there was way too much waiting. The mani pedis we got were ok but the service was terrible. I understand it's a small business and you want to take care of as many customers as possible but I felt they took on too much and neglected their customers which I don't appreciate. DON'T GO HERE. Seriously. I know it's the only nail salon on the island, but it's not worth it. I made an appointment for 2 gel manicures @4pm. We arrived on time (didn't sit us together) and they began by using an electric nail file/drill to take off my gel. I got burned by how deep he went on my nail. Once the polish was OFF they soaked my nails (???) for 40+ minutes. They soaked off 3 of my tips which I told them about before they began. They finished my mother before I even got started. I was filing my nails myself while waiting and by the time he got to me (5pm) he began polishing my nails without filing, doing my cuticles or anything. (Not to mention he told me he wouldn't put tips back on my nails because they "didn't need them") No base coat either until I asked. My nails are all different lengths and course to the touch. They hardly were able to communicate with us and didn't apologize for the wait. Can't wait to get home and get a new manicure. read more

One of the worst gel manicures I have ever had. Firstly, Staff did not sanitize the instruments between customers, instead just washing and drying them and putting them back in plastic pencil boxes. Also, they charge a $5 up charge to remove existing gel polish. My nail tech left in the middle of my manicure to take care of another customer and passed me off to someone else. The new person left me to start another customers pedicure, so it took nearly 1/2 hour for her to return and finish my manicure. Finally, the gel manicure lasted less than 1 week. Underwhelming is an understatement for this establishment. I went yesterday to get a manicure and pedicure. It started with bad communication and customer service and it really just went down hill from there. First of all the owner a woman took my temperate and told me that I was 91 degrees. I tried explaining to her that her thermometer was not working properly but she pretending to not understand me. I then received a pedicure form an older man which I believe was also an owner. He did the bare minimum work touched my legs like a Luke warm dead fish for two minutes and that was it for the massage. The wife had to come and paint my toes after her for some reason. Then she did my manicure which included no soaking or massage. They were already overpriced and then added on a five dollar fee per service and when I asked why she got loud and rude and started pointing to a sign stuck on her front reception desk that she never brought to my attention neither while booking my appointment or when entering. It's a shame that people like this are in business because I am in the industry and I am embarrassed for the services they performed yesterday and they should be too. Save your time and money and please go someplace else that is clean and safe! read more

This place is on point. I got a spa pedicure and it was amazing. The gentleman who did it was paying attention to every detail including what I was and was not enjoying. He noticed I was really enjoying the leg and foot massage and made sure he massaged as much as possible. The price was also amazing!! $40 for a spa pedi is excellent!! I will def be back!! read more

They rushed through my gel manicure very quickly. I don't think my nail tips were not "rounded" evenly because quite frankly I don't think she really even tried it was so fast. One of the nails had a scratch in the polish at the end, which I pointed out, but she told me it was my nail. It was clearly the top coat of polish. No massage. read more
