I went today for a haircut with Amanda upon a recommendation of a friend. I had been here before for my daughter's wedding. The wedding updo's were just beautiful! Amanda took her time so she really understood what I wanted. She was also a pleasure to talk to. My hair came out exactly the way I wanted! I would highly recommend Amanda. She did a beautiful job read more

Wish I could have had a chance to rate their services. But when I called to let them know I was running 10-15 minutes late for my blowout, they cancelled my appointment stating they couldn't take me late. Beware about tight scheduling. read more

The whole team is amazing! Brittney opened the salon on a Sunday just for myself & my bridal party. I live in California so I wasn't able to have a trail completed, but it wasn't necessary. I was so happy with my bridal hair that was done by Brittney at 8 in the morning. The style lasted all day & night and it was exactly what I wanted. She did my daughters hair also which couldn't be cuter! She nailed it perfectly, just by seeing photos of what I wanted. My airbrush makeup was done here also and I was very happy with it. I felt amazing on my big day. A huge thank you to the whole team. They even sent me a "congratulations" card in the mail and that was the icing on the cake! read more

Lavish Salon - My daughter & I on my wedding day! - Hair Salons Near Me - Beach Haven, New Jersey

I came here this past weekend to get my makeup done for a wedding. Everyone in this salon was exceptionally friendly. They were accommodating and even squeezed me in for a blow out in addition to my makeup appt with Kelly, who I literally CANNOT say enough positive things about. I wish I lived closer because I would legitimately go to Kelly for every single event that I attend. 10/10 recommend. read more

Love coming here-everyone is so friendly and helpful- prices are fair for the quality. Taylor is the balayage queen!!!! read more

I had a mediocre pedicure. The whole process only took about 25 min - probably because the person who did it skipped a lot of steps. Nothing done with calluses (mine aren't too bad, but some type of exfoliation would be nice), nothing with cuticles and no base coat before polish. The polish didn't even cover the whole nail. She had really long, decorated nails and I don't think she has figured out how to do a good pedicure with her own manicure situation. It was really more like a polish change than a $35 pedicure. Still searching for a good option on LBI. From the reviews, it seems like this salon is more of a hair place than a nail place. read more

I would highly recommend Lavish for anyone getting married on LBI!! To start, Brittany & her team are extremely talented, professional and friendly. My mom and bridal party were beyond happy with their hair and makeup. Everyone looked gorgeous! Lavish made my planning process & wedding day so relaxing, memorable and fun. I also highly recommend Lavish for hair styling & color! Dana has been doing my hair for the past year and I couldn't be happier. She is an amazing colorist! Very sweet and very precise in her work! I wish I could give Lavish above 5 stars! read more

If there was a zero rating, I would have chosen. Gel manicure peeled off in days. I gave another try. French manicure looked like a child did it! I had it removed right there and she left the remover on so long that my nails gave white spots and lines. Staff didn't care. Horrible. Brittany, I'm sorry but I was in your salon for an hour and 20 minutes. That included 20 minutes of wait time and a pedi. The gel was so bad, That I asked for it to be removed. When I went to pay at 5:20 and I explained what happened, you said it was closing time. Other ladies have said your services are poor. I only wrote the review to help you. This is the first review I've ever written. I felt strongly. read more

Lavish Salon - Hair Salons Near Me - Beach Haven, New Jersey

Can't beat the service or the price for my needs. Both times I went, I just needed a quick summer cut. They were able to get me in and out without a lot of hassle. The ladies who did my hair were both pleasant and professional. I look forward to being a repeat customer for summers to come read more

We came in from out of town for my niece's wedding and I wanted to get an updo for this special occasion. Made an appointment with Taylor, based on Yelp reviews and photographs from the salon's website. It's always a crap shoot going to a new stylist, particularly before an important occasion. I was super pleased with Taylor's talent and artistry, particularly having to secure my fine, thin hair to withstand the incredible wind. Loved the hair and received many compliments! What a relief knowing I didn't have to return to the hotel to fix what I just paid for. This review is specific to Taylor's skills, hence the 5 stars, however, this salon seems to be following the trend to disallow tips on the credit card. Who carries cash any more?! It's a cashless world. The trend should be digital payments with tip options. This feels so archaic! While I'm disappointed with this trend and won't carry cash because businesses want to avoid credit card fees, Lavish Salon is clean, upscale and most of the stylists looked professional, particularly Taylor. As an aside, my husband filled in as doorman for the salon for an hour. The wind kept blowing the door open, so he locked, unlocked, opened the door and greeted their customers for an hour. They were appreciative, but hey, where's the discount for the special services provided?! I'd highly recommend Taylor for updos and hair artistry. If I lived nearby, I'd definitely make an appointment with her to highlight my hair. She was personable, skilled and interested in my input and feedback throughout the process. Thanks Taylor! read more

Absolutely loved my first experience here!!! Cindy is the absolute best and gave me exactly what I asked for! They were so helpful and understanding when my hair took longer than expected and have amazing prices for an extremely expensive town!! read more

After reading my review, the owner called me and offered to fix my eyebrows personally. Unfortunately, I had already left the area and had already gotten them re-done elsewhere, otherwise I would have taken her up on her offer. The fact that she offered in the first place was very thoughtful. My review is based on my experience there, and the waxing job was, simply put, not good. Maybe if I had had time to get a haircut or something, I would be able to give more stars, but that is not the case. So, sorry. read more

My first experience with Lavish Salon was fabulous! The staff are friendly, the salon is clean, contemporary, and they piped in good music. While all that is important to me, what's even better, and the reason why I was inspired to write this review, is because I meet a stylist, Jarisa, who listened to what I wished to have done (color touch up, that is not easy to do especially when it's the first time the stylist is working on your hair, cut, blow dry) discussed options, and followed through! Thank you, Jarisa, for making another customer, I'm sure, a happy customer! read more

Excellent salon, lucky to have them here in Beach Haven. If you want excellent service at a fair price, call Lavish

I went to Lavish for a cut and balayage this past weekend. Taylor is amazing and I will now be regular at this salon. Her attention to detail with everything was much appreciated and you could tell in the results. She made my hair look better than the image I had in my head of what I wanted/expected it to look like. She also did an amazing job with the blow out at the end, I've never had my hair so smooth before and it lasted. I highly recommend this salon and especially Taylor. The salon was very clean and recently remodeled, very modern. They have a full service nail salon as well, which is also very clean. All in all I have never been more please after a cut and color experience and can't wait to go back! read more

Services, experience and atmosphere are excellent in this salon, especially in an area which does not give you many choices. The owner gives you the attention that others on the island (and off), do not. Our whole family uses this salon every time we come down from our home in North Jersey. We've been very happy repeat customers. read more

Excellent customer service. I've called many salons in the area for my wedding, and Lavish by far has the best customer service. Everyone else should take a lesson! They are so sweet. read more

Last summer I went to this salon for some highlights on the recommendation of a friend/neighbor. I was really happy with the service and price. The owner actually did my hair and I was very happy with the result. My husband had his haircut there and was also very happy. A nice little place in a town where you wouldn't necessarily expect a salon of this type. Competent, pleasant, courteous and professional. read more

Cindy was rude and condescending. As my would-be stylist, she didn't answer my 3 calls the 30 minutes prior to my appointment AND left the 'closed' sign up upon my arrival- prompting me to leave. Her follow-up call telling me THAT I WAS LATE was snotty, telling me she was in the back mixing colors and it wasn't her job to answer the phone, moreover she couldn't accommodate me today and we'd have to reschedule for another day. Lost a customer (and I have been an LBI local for 62 years). read more

I went to Lavish last weekend for my wedding hair and makeup. Brittany and her staff are wonderful! I was absolutely thrilled with how everything turned out! I brought my mother here for hair wash and blow dry. Everyone working at this salon could not have been nicer or more helpful. My mother recently had a hip replacement so she is finding it difficult to get around. They helped her in and back out into the car in the pouring rain.
