She explained every step, checked in to make sure I was comfortable, and didn't judge me for nervously clutching my iced latte like it was a holy relic. The actual process? Surprisingly relaxing. I almost fell asleep, which, if you know me, is wild because I can barely sit still for a Netflix episode. And when I opened my eyes? Babe. BABE. The lashes were perfect -- full, clean, and not cartoonish at all. Think "subtle enhancement" with just enough flirt to make even the straight boys at the gym double-take. What I loved most is that they didn't feel heavy or fake. They just gave me this extra pop -- like contouring, but for your eyes. I decided to have a self care day inside the Lab. While I was in route, I thought okay, I'll get a facial...in all my 49 years on earth, I have never had a facial...ridiculous, right??? I arrive and immediately, Soraya assessed my skin and recommended a microdermabrasion. After that exhilarating experience, I was on cloud 9 for the remainder of the day. It was one of the most relaxing experiences I have ever had. She was gentle with her hands and she guided me through the entire process since it was my first time receiving one.
