AMAZING JOB!!!! Claudia is the forth tecnician I have been…read moreseeying for my eyebrows, in the past five years, and I can easily say that she is absolutely the best. First, she is extremely knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process. She takes time to explain every single step and make sure that you are always confortable. Second, she is an exceptional artist, she draws the shape precisely and simmetricaly. Third, the numbing cream she uses is very effective, after my previous experiences I was prepared to be in a lot of pain. Well, that wasn't the case, it was almost pain free. Last but not least, the ink doesn't fade easily (like happened in my previous exeperiences), I had my touch up, after 5 months, 2 weeks ago, and honestly my eyebrows were in very good condition even before the touch up. I'm extremely pleased with the final result and couldn't be happier.

I've been going to Claudia for several years, and her work has never disappointed. While we…read moresometimes have disagreements, I always leave with results that meet both our expectations. I don't give empty praise--my loyalty speaks for itself. Over the years, I've chosen not to return to many providers who lacked skill, care, or professionalism, and I have no regrets about those decisions. I don't associate or work with people who hold themselves to low standards. Claudia is none of these. In fact, her line work is so precise that I always leave the office in awe of the symmetry and framing only someone with true talent can achieve. She's nitpicky in the right way: thoughtful, meticulous, and intentional. If you want a provider who genuinely cares about their craft, forms a real connection with clients, and delivers excellent results, go to Claudia--you won't be disappointed.

I've been going to Jenny at Brow+ K-Beauty Lab in Castro Valley for about a year now, and I can…read morehonestly say it has become one of my favorite self-care rituals. I stay consistent with my monthly facials, and the difference in my skin has been incredible. My skin is glowing, healthy, and aging beautifully! Since meeting Jenny, I always renew my 5-visit pass - who doesn't want to be pampered and glowing?! When I first started in late 2025, I didn't realize how much intentional self-care could benefit not only my skin, but my soul too. Each visit feels like an investment in myself. Jenny is absolutely amazing. She is attentive and intentional throughout the entire session, carefully prepping my skin and giving it the love and care it needs. I always leave feeling refreshed with that beautiful, glass-like glow! The studio on Redwood Road in Castro Valley is chic, stylish, comfortable, and impeccably clean, which makes the entire experience even better.

Booked a Tuesday appointment for a back facial, because I've been searching everywhere for one in…read morethe East Bay and I was so excited when I found her website listing one for $120 for 60 minutes! Booked through the website, Paid my deposit and everything and was super excited for the experience. The description is: "Treat your back to a luxurious Back Facial that improves elasticity, hydration, and texture while stimulating collagen production for firmer, more youthful skin. With deep cleansing, exfoliation, and nourishing masks, this rejuvenating treatment revitalizes dry or uneven skin on your back, leaving it smoother and brighter." Got the confirmation text and email and confirmed everything. When I got there, Jenny very kindly informed me that she actually no longer does the back facials, she only does face facials now. I was definitely disappointed, but I had already driven there and had the day off, so I opted for the 10 step Korean facial instead ($199 before tip). She said that she was currently doing an offer for $199 instead of $300+, so I figured why not. This one is 90 minutes instead of 60 minutes. If it's your first time coming, I would recommend getting there 5 mins ish before your appointment so you can park and find the entrance to her room - there's a lot of other businesses here so I did have to take a lap to find the right door in the hallway. Pros: The whole facial experience was actually pretty great - the whole place is clean, easy parking out front. And it's very involved, in a good way. it includes massage to the face, shoulder, neck, arms, as well as all the regular facial stuff like extractions and a mask. She also uses the Plasonic machine (which can feel hot like it's burn/zapping your skin) but you can tell her if it feels too hot and she'll change the settings. She got rid of my blackheads with an ultrasonic skin scrubber and extracted all my whiteheads. There's also red light therapy. The studio is super clean, and Jenny is super sweet and nice, definitely easy to trust the Korean lady. I definitely would not mind coming back for another facial - I left there with my skin feeling super soft, she gave me some skincare tips, and it's a great location if you live in Castro Valley or San Leandro. I would definitely recommend wearing comfortable and thinner pants, because it gets pretty hot in the room with all the treatments. My highest praise would include that the extraction part wasn't as painful as other facials I've had, and the shoulder/neck/arm massage was surprisingly really helpful in relieving some pain I had from work! Cons: - I think it was really hard for me to give a 5, since I feel like I fell for false advertising thinking I was coming for a back facial. Things worked out in the end and I was due for a facial anyway - but I would have done some things differently (like not washed my hair beforehand, since it got a lot oilier after the scalp massage) if I had known I wasn't getting the back facial. Her service is great and I would highly recommend her for facials - and it sounds like her microblading is well appreciated too - but just be aware there are NO back facials here.

I came here for lash extensions and ended up in the ER and urgent care (twice)…read more I've had lashes before without any problems. But came here for a more natural look after being referred by a friend. I told the tech from the beginning of the service that my eye was burning. She continued anyway. This continued on throughout the duration of my service, with the tech leaving without explanation during the process. That night, the pain and redness started to get worse. The next morning I went to urgent care who then sent me to the ER. After multiple tests, I was informed that my eye was cut and that I had chemical burn in both eyes. As if that weren't bad enough, I woke up the next morning with both eyes nearly swollen shut. Apparently the lash glue they use is extremely strong and caused an allergic reaction. I suffered temporary blindness and had discharge from both eyes. I texted with the salon about this multiple times. I also returned and the manager stood there without even acknowledging me. When I asked to speak to him directly, he told me that "it is what it is" even though I brought my medical documentation with me. I had to ask for a refund which took several days. And I have since been given the run around about the claims process to help get my medical bills covered. I understand that things happen, but it's how this was handled that left a very bad taste in my mouth. I do not recommend this business and will obviously not be returning.

She was able to fit me in right when I needed and the entire experience was great. They offered drinks for free, had comfy chairs, TONS of nail color options, and did a fantastic job. I wish I lived closer so I could get my nails done here every time!

It was my first time at this nail shop. Something you notice right away is that the entrance is ADA…read moreaccessible with a ramp in the interior of the building. The seating is nice and clean, and there is a beverage station by the waiting area. It is decorated with modern, high-backed spa lounge chairs. However, the chairs do not have a massage function and the pedicure basin does not have the jet functions. In that aspect, it reminds me of Cabana, which is around the corner and down the street. Aesthetically, the place is very good looking. But for me, I prefer a more functional spa chair. I like the massage and jets at other places. Also, the faux leather of the chair and small pillow made me really overheated and uncomfortable. It was only a 11:30am and the temperature was growing uncomfortably warm with no AC or fan. The nail tech did try to fan me but that felt awkward so I smiled and asked her if I could have a water bottle instead. There was one other client getting her nails done while I was in there. They do offer to upcharge you on gel but I do not prefer it, so I declined. My service was the VIP 2. The massage was very short and the tech used her nails to graze my skin. It did not feel good as her natural nails felt thin and sharp on my sensitive skin. Also, as a part of the service, I was hoping for the paraffin wax. Instead, my heavily lotioned legs got wrapped in a hot towel (that felt nice) but got a "collagen sock" which was a single use plastic boot type product akin to a bag. The tech took the toe portion off so she could work on prepping the polish with my toes perched awkwardly to let the boot hang over the interior edge of the basin. Without the motorized spa chair function, it was not easy to fix my position as I would have needed multiple pillows to incline from the seat. They did not have a fan or nail drying station for the regular polish so the older nail tech accidentally messed up my polish when putting on my sandal. By that point, I had grown tired of the uncomfortable seat and I wanted to leave. I did not ask her to fix it because I had other errands to run for the day. I fixed the polish myself at home and it dried a lot quicker with the OPI brand I prefer. Overall, the place is aesthetic, there's plenty of metered street parking nearby, the techs are sweet but communication is limited, they have some amenities while you wait, and there are other private suites for rent in the interior of the nail salon for rent (in case you are a service provider, this may benefit you). Personally, I probably won't be back for nail services but did see they have permanent eyebrow tattoos. I may be back for that instead.
