You can tell she is genuine and wants to help you. She gave me a great price for a cut and the keratin. My hair cut was perfect and the keratin treatment has changed my life. I have very thick and long hair that took about 25-30 minutes to blow dry. After blow drying I would have to use a straightener. Who has time for that in the morning before work? Not me! Since getting the keratin treatment two weeks ago, I have wore my hair down every day! Honestly, it cut my dry time to 5-10 mins and I don't have to use a straightener. It is amazing! As always, she is fabulous!!! Wonderful with color, highlights, root touch-ups, cuts and a blow-dry. She always listens to what I need and want, but also has great ideas and solutions if I am looking to change it up. Ultimately though, it's always up to me--she wants her clients to be happy. She is personable, professional and fun to talk to. I cannot say enough good things about her, and I always feel wonderful when I leave there. I so look forward to my once a month appointments with her. She is the best!!! As for the salon itself, I found it very clean and nicely decorated. It's an upbeat and relaxing atmosphere. The owner seems nice. Of the negative reviews, I can say that the female stylist Nova is no longer there. It's discouraging to read others have had bad experiences but I think the owner has taken some steps to improve the quality of service. I only see Jen, but I have met the owner and seen him working with other clients, both men and women, and it's all been good from what I can tell so I feel comfortable recommending the place. On-street parking can be a bit tricky in this busy little spot, but I have always found something out front or across the street. If you haven't tried this place and are local and looking, give them a try! And book an appointment with Jen!

While I was fortunate not to completely loose my hair, it has thinned considerably in comparison to the thick head of hair that I was born with. It is a devastating experience and I spend so much time trying to cover up the thinning spots where my scalp shows through with teary eyes every morning. I recently purchased a "wig topper". Not a full wig, but it skims the top of my head (covering up the scalp areas) and blends in with my own hair. However, I wasn't wearing it because the bangs made it look too wig like, and needed them cut...professionally. Since my hairstylist is in Providence, I did some research and decided that this was the best salon in Franklin. The receptionist or manager was INCREDIBLY gracious and sensitive to my needs and set me up with the owner, Stephen! What a guy!!! Not only did he give me EXACTLY what I wanted, but he made me good about myself. He caught on that I wasn't feeling too good about myself... Truth be told, when I first walked into the salon, I had tears in my eyes because of my appearance. After leaving Stephen's chair, I had a big smile on my face and still do!
