I was able to schedule an appointment for the next day at the time I requested. Signage for the business is slightly small. It is next to the nail salon if it helps you locate. Upon arrival there was one person getting her hair blow dried. As I arrived slightly early I was able to sit and browse the stack of magazines available. I was taken to the wash bowl right at my scheduled appointment time. I was asked how I wanted my hair cut and felt that I was listened to. When blow drying he did not put any products in my hair. Cost for the hair cut and blow dry was $35 which is very reasonable. However, the reason for the loss of a star is due to not accepting credit cards. There was no sign on the outside or inside indicating this. Good thing for once I actually had cash on me.

This salon kept coming up on my Instagram. I decided to take a chance on this salon. My whole experience with Alia Rose was amazing from booking to check out. It's always scary to try a new salon for color. When I saw some of their work online, I decided to give them a try. When I called to make my appointment the person who answered the phone was friendly and took her time. I asked questions about their payment methods. Stylist is able to take cash/venmo/zelle/ or even a check for tip. Nice that they offer all of these options. The salon is located on a busy street with street parking. There is a pedestrian cross walk right in front of the salon. I was greeted promptly and the interior of the salon was beautiful. I was scheduled with Emilee for my full highlight and touch up. She listened to my thoughts and took the time to explain pricing up front. I appreciated that she told me what to expect right away as the salon sticker shock is never pleasant. But it definitely did look awesome. It's quaint, but they offer you drinks (even wine). My one complaint would be the space is too small. Every station was taken and they were even sharing stations (not in a weird way AT ALL) just to get someone in the chair, in the dryer and in the sink. But overall experience was definitely higher end and I will be back (hopefully with Hannah). I do miss the days of living in the city and having one person completely dedicated to color and another completely dedicated to style...that being said they don't have the space for that so not going to try to say something negative about that. As soon as I came walking in Maggie came walking out of the back, greeted me and I sat down. She told me about the standard services, but I opted for a quick hair cut (no shampoo or scalp massage). The way she handled the scissors and razor I could tell this girl knew her stuff. I've received countless haircuts from expensive stylists and once at a chop shop called Great Clips (what a misnomer). Maggie gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had.
