Hair stylist also kept insinuating I don't condition/moisturize my daughter's hair even after I said of course I do. Not sure why she would question that when I literally explained the reasoning for the haircut was bc of her hair texture & length causing extra tangles. Yet, no detangler or conditioner was applied by the stylist herself, she was just rough brushing my daughter's hair. Stylist also seemed upset because owner booked us last minute? Heard the whole convo of her complaining as I awkwardly waited there for her to close her books, was sitting on her phone for a few minutes, and have us wait past our appt time to sit my daughter in her chair. Overall odd experience & felt terrible seeing my daughter's hair being brushed so roughly, especially when she told me after that it was hurting her & now tells me no to future trims ._. I'm not one to speak up but regretted not doing so. I appreciate the owner squeezing us in when another place "didn't realize they booked me". When I first walked in, we talked about my goals for my hair and how I like to wear it. She listened to me and understood what I wanted. She got to work, she is fast and very efficient. Something I've never personally seen in a hairdresser. Usually with my hair it takes anywhere from 6 hours to foil, tone, wash and style, yet she did it in as little as four and a half hours. I love that I can plan my day around my hair. Before I had to spend my whole day getting my hair done, but now I only need to book myself out for half the day. I've been going to her ever since, and I always leave feeling cared for. I love that I always walk out with what I want, it makes me feel confident.
