The beds comfy and bed they cover you in the softest blanket, they definitely do a lot to make sure the customer is comfortable. I've been here twice now once for a full set and once for a fill so I'll start with my first experience. I made a same day appointment with Bianca for a classic set, I had some technical issues trying to book the appointment on my phone so they sorted it all out for me and booked the appointment. I came in for my appointment sat in the waiting room while filling out all the necessary paperwork. Bianca was the lash tech and she was super patient and didn't rush! They definitely take their time in order to ensure everyone who leaves loves their lashes. They specialize in putting a lash on each and everyone of your natural lashes so they don't cheap out like some other salons that limit the lash amount per eye. Over the next 2 weeks next to no lashes fell out I'd say I probably lost less then 20 lashes which is totally normal with your natural lashes! I booked a fill appointment 2 weeks later and came in to get my lashes filled again with Bianca and she did an amazing job filling once again! I left and my lashes look amazing! Super full and fluffy. And I know they'll be on for a while. Like with most things I find you get what you pay for, so yes although they may be an investment just know if you go to BxD lash you'll walk away with the best lashes, the best service and having the best quality products available used! I got my mucosal liner done here for top and bottom and it cost $800. I thought it was quite expensive but at least I know why. She's the only health board certified permanent makeup artist in Canada and that costs a lot to get!! At first I didn't think it was enough but when it came time for my touch up (4-6 weeks later) I thought it was good. When you first get it done it is very vibrant and dark. After it starts to peel and scab off it becomes much lighter and the true color doesn't come out until about a month later because that hazy dry dead skin is covering the pigment. She gets you to lay down on a table (similar to when you get a facial done) and she does the first pass with the tattoo needle without any numbing cream. This is to allow the gel to to work. I felt everything though because I teared up so much the first time and I think it washed away the numbing gel. Some people say they don't feel anything but scratching but I felt everything and it's really painful. She is very quick and does take frequent breaks so you can take a look at the work she's done and ask her to tweak anything. Honestly less is more for permanent makeup. I don't want to look over done on a daily basis and when I do want more I just put on more eyeliner for special occassions anyway. I see so many of my friends with way too much makeup on for daily wear and I just think it takes away too much from their natural beauty. The work she did on me was good because I don't feel over done but yet I don't look like death. LOL! I have thin eyelashes and the little bit on the lash line and on the wetline really helps open my eyes up and make me look more awake. I would refer her to other people because she is good at what she does.

I found out that there were 2 locations through this so if you're trying to get a session here, select the Kerr Street location. I had to wait for an email confirmation before my pedicure time slot was approved. The one thing I couldn't do online was book multiple appointments for the same time. I was originally hoping to come with a friend. The lot that is next to the building is actually for the orthodontist so you'll have to park along the street in front of the salon. I didn't realize this at first so I had to move my car. I also don't carry change with me but the receptionist was kind of enough to give me a few quarters to feed the meter. I was the first appointment in the morning at 10am and they had everything set up and ready for me. They did have a lot of colours to choose from and it was impressive that they knew the names of the colours too! The massage chair was really nice. I've never been to a place with one where even the seat where your butt goes inflates and stuff. My technician was awesome. She took her time with the polish application and made sure to clean up any areas that were messy. My feet felt great after this and looked even better. The prices were really reasonable so I will definitely be back in the future.
