I brought my wife to Beautiful Nails Spa as a treat, and she absolutely loved it! She got the Volcano Pedicure, which not only looked amazing but smelled incredible too. Amy did a fantastic job--she was professional, attentive, and made the whole experience relaxing and special. The salon was clean, welcoming, and had a very peaceful atmosphere. I went in for a fill in that I was told would cost $45 and it was an awful experience that no customer should have to endure the nail tech was awful he cut my nails to short and uneven even though I told him the length that I wanted. When I told him that I only wanted tips he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about and the rest of the nail techs started talking to him in their language and began questioning me about what I wanted when I tried to explain they all started talking to me like they were drunk and I was a problem I asked them how much it would cost for him to clear everything off my nails so I could leave I was given a cost of $40 dollars look at my photos and see why I had a problem with that now for the good part they called the police and locked the door I was held hostage for about one hour until the police arrived before the police arrived I was given a price of $35 dollars for what he had already done however I told them that I would pay when the police got there and I did. The technician that called the police (the first one in the picture) appeared to be the leader kept telling me over and over how she knew Virginia law uh duh? The nail tech standing that appears to be hiding behind the fixture is the one that cut my acrylic nails and natural off and refused to do what I wanted he also told me that my natural nails were acrylic. The tech that called the police started telling her version of what happened when the police arrived (the one that kept telling me that she knows Virginia law) and one of the officers did sign language of crazy that is the one that viewed the beginning of the video and assumed that was all he needed to see apparently he thought I had my nails done and wanted to leave without paying? Excellent nail spa! I felt so loved and pampered! I got the liquid gel/hard gel manicure and gel pedicure services. I had the volcano spa pedicure and I was treated to an amazing comfortable massage chair and a glass of moscato. The nail tech Victoria was kind and patient and never rushed me even though I was one of the last ones out that night. I went in today for a fill & a repair. I previously had pink & white nails. Instead of putting a clear tip on and then adding white & pink acrylic, they placed a white tip and then covered it with pink. I voiced my concerns several times and finally asked for paint. I was ignored, so I told them again that I didn't like it and that I would like paint. The nail is oddly shaped and shorter than the rest of the nails, but I thought paint would help it to not be so obvious. I was ignored (this wasn't a language barrier) again. This place is horrible my boyfriend took me here to surprise me with a nail spa day and this man at table 9 I believe had cut me while taking my old nails off oh yea he didn't soak them like they are supposed to he chopped and pulled them off with nail clippers then when we went to go do my toes he had cut my toe with the drill as he was taking the polish off of my toes again he didn't soak them off like most shops do let me remind you it takes more than 2 weeks for my nails to start to break it take about 5-6 weeks at most but I've already had two nails ripped off by the acrylic with doing anything extreme other than working retail this place is not a good place to get acrylics and trust me I been having acrylic for years now read more

Horrible experience. I had to ask and critique each and every nail Bc the shape, length and width was all different. He kept giving me an attitude and making an excuse or saying he'll get to it later but never did. At the end after I washed my hands I had gel polish all over my fingers. I asked him to clean them up and he said it'll come off when I wash my hands. I asked him again if he could please clean them up and he took his file and started angrily filing my skin . The manicure I received was so poor that my cuticles started bleeding, Then she went over my bleeding cuticles with a nail buffer block. This is my go to place for a gel pedicure. I think the price is fair for all you get. Their basic pedicure is what most salons would call a deluxe so I love that. They also offer complimentary drinks including alcoholic beverages like wine. 3 stars given because the woman who does acrylic on toes seems to rush a bit. Last time I went my toe nails were all filed a bit crooked and the paint job was running into my cuticle bed making it a bit messy. I am very particular about my pedicures but overall I will be back and I would absolutely recommend this place. I got my toes done and a full set with gel. They charge for every little thing, which is fine but not what I'm used too. That wasn't what made me give 1 star. If I can give no stars I would, I got my nails done by an older woman, she was filing my nails very rough to shape them. I had to keep telling her to stop. Once I left my fingers were sore which it's like that sometime I'm sure for everyone but about 2 hours after I got them done my finger tips hurt so bad that I couldn't do anything with my hands. Literally couldn't even unbuckle my daughters car seat buckle or pick her up. It was too late to go back that Sunday night but I needed them off so I bought a nail clipper and clipped the tips and tried to take them off but it hurt too bad. I had to work the next 2 Days so when I went that Wednesday and they remembered I called about getting them off that Sunday. The lady that took them off seemed mad that I went thru that but then proceeded to pull off the nails instead of soaking them. I could have done that! So I left and will never go back there, they didn't offer to do my nails again or a refund either. A waste of money and time and the woman that seems to be the boss was the one that opted to just rip the acrylic off my nails. The acrylic hurt even more to get off because when the older woman did them she got them stuck to my cuticles that she didn't cut off so I was bleeding when I tried it get them off. It was a mess, NEVER AGAIN. And I DO NOT recommend this place at all read more

The woman who just did my eyelashes was rude. I was concerned because my eyelashes were sticking to the paper and she said don't worry..she'd been doing this 16 years. Then came time to take tape off...she started plucking the lash off and reapplying some. Ridiculous. If you are concerned about your real lashes...don't come here. She said I must not get my lashes done a lot. No actually... every week. I just won't be returning to these guys. I had to remind her that she neglected to even wash her hands. I'M SO UPSET WITH THIS NAIL SALON! I specifically called in because I wanted a nail tech who would be able to GENTLY remove my old set (it had been over a month since I had my old set due to cut I had on my finger) and requested a BRAND NEW FULL SET. I specifically called in and asked how much would it cost to get a full set and short coffin nails? The person who answered the phone said it would cost 45 DOLLARS. So I booked an appointment for 3PM. I repeated the price just to ensure that I heard her correctly and she said yes. Not only was I seen at 3:40PM, my nail tech was aggressive with my hands THE ENTIRE TIME (KNICKING MY SKIN AND CUTTING MY NAIL BEDS) and had the nerve to say I was too sensitive. In addition, she didn't even give me the short nails I wanted despite me complaining. When I was going to check out, completely upset and over the place, they charged me 65 DOLLARS. When I asked to see the manager, she explained I got long nails so that's why there was an extra fee. When I explained to the manager that's why I specifically called in to avoid the miscommunication, she said she can cut it for me. She butchered the nails and left me with THICK GEOMETRIC LOOKING NAILS.... AS A FIRST-TIME CUSTOMER, I will never come back nor will I EVER recommend this nail salon to anyone. My last time being serviced here!!! Arrived at the salon and was told to sign in on the computer. Signed my name as well as selected the type of service I wanted. Spa pedicure that was $30. Once back at the service area I was told to sit and someone came to run my water. Upon placing my feet in the water the tech who would be servicing me asked what I was getting and again I stated the spa pedicure. The tech did a wonderful job on my feet however once it came time to pay she told me it would be $45. I then questioned as to why when the service I selected said $30. She proceeds to say no, spa pedicure is $45. I paid but something still didn't sit right with what happen so I asked the another tech do they not look in their system to see what a customer is signed in for?! She then calls for the tech who serviced me to come back. While I'm waiting for my feet to dry and the tech, I see one of the salon brochures at the bottom of the station. Once opening it I saw the pedicure which I selected on the sign in screen say $30. I show the tech the pedicure which I selected in the computer. She then says" oh that's classic pedicure, I gave you Hot stone spa pedicure. You have to tell me classic next time and then laughed and said sorry". I said I used your system to sign in for what I wanted so you knew and then you asked me again. I told you spa pedicure and I didn't know there were two types nor did you ask or clarify if It were classic or hot stone spa. You just took it upon yourself to give me what you wanted despite seeing what I ordered in your system. She says sorry but yet still would not adjust my transaction. Please be careful with this business and their sign in system. You request one thing however they"ll give you what they want to give you! read more
