I don't usually frequent these sort of places, but I had a Groupon for $35 for a 1 hour massage (normal price was $75)... +tip. It was the last day of 2013 and I had an 11:30 AM appointment. As you enter the plaza parking lot area you will find this location on the backside. It was their first day open and they were very professional. I was offered water or tea upon my arrival and they had me fill out some basic paperwork. Francisca was my masseuse and she was great. She had strong hands and really listened to my preferences, to customize the massage to my liking. Being that it was the last day of the year on my visit here, it was a happy ending to my 2013! Albeit my first spa experience, Beautiful Me set a superb standard! I had an appointment with several friends in the early morning hours after they opened. The staff was warm and inviting, welcoming us with quiet voices. Without waiting, each of us were paired off with a therapist. Francisca was my masseuse for a 60 minute massage. As I told her, "you massaged my soul today." She encouraged me to start with a lighter massage, as it was my first time. I was excited to try a deep tissue for my upper body and a Swedish for the rest. Francisca was very thorough and attentive to all of my requests. I highly recommend her to all! Beautiful Me is a wonderful establishment and I highly recommend! I am in the middle of midterms at my university; the massage was the answer to my stress. read more

I visited Beautiful Me twice before deciding to write this review. The first massage was decent - I'd give it a 6.5 on a scale of 1-10. However, the massage room we were in was a glorified closet. There was barely enough room for the therapist to walk around the table, which was kind of awkward. Even she commented about how small the room was. But when I was paying to leave, the owner asked if I wanted to schedule another appt, and she offered me a great deal on a 90-minute massage ($48) - clearly, at 8 months pregnant, I can't pass a deal up like that. So I booked it. Well, let's just say the second appt didn't go very smoothly. The room was slightly larger than the first, but the therapist apparently "wasn't told" I was booked for a 90-min, so at 60 minutes she patted the sheet and said, "ok, thanks" and tried to leave. When I told her it was supposed to be 90 minutes, it got weird, and she didn't know where to pick up or what to do next. She asked me what I wanted her to work on. At that point it was just uncomfortable, and she spent the next half hour basically rubbing the same spot on my back. Nevermind the fact that this woman used SO much oil that my body felt like it was going to slide right off the table. I could barely feel her hands b/c they were just sliding around. Now let's talk about what this woman did to my face and hair. First of all, it's like in the massage therapist's code to NOT use massage oil when doing someone's face (or scalp, for that matter). Sure, you may have a little residual on your hands, but you certainly don't "lube up" before rubbing your hands all over someone's face and head - ESPECIALLY if you're not a full-service spa with showers. Let's just say this woman went to TOWN on my face and scalp. I've never had such greasy skin as I did when I walked out of there. I looked like Edward Scissorhands - my hair was dripping with oil. There was no way I could go anywhere but straight home to try to wash this crap out. (And I had to wash it twice to get the oil out.) When I expressed my frustration to the owner, she barely acknowledged. She had no recollection of booking me for the 90 minute massage, and she didn't even apologize for the state I was in, drenched in oil. It was all very, very odd, and SO disappointing, especially since this may be the last massage I get before baby comes! I guess this is a lesson in, "you get what you pay for." read more

These products are far better than any other spa in Cary or raleigh..this is the Boutique of spas not like the commercialized, franchised cattle spas that treat you like a number, force sales on you and useless memberships..that is not relaxing..this is a hidden jewel amongst the Cary shops. read more

I was there for a two hour massage. When I called I specifically told them that I want a deep tissue massage, not swedish as I dont like swedish massages. The manager on the phone told me ok not a problem. However, when I got there, upon filling the form, I reminded again my requirement but was told by the manager Hwan that the person doing deep tissue is not available and the therapist who is available would do her best. I was not sure to postpone my appointment but since I just flew back from Asia and Europe, I really needed a massage from all those long hours of flying. So I decided to go ahead and give it a try since I am already there anyways. Firstly, I was called to the massage room 5 mins before my time which was very good as most professional spas do that anyways as this 5 mins is needed for you to change and get ready. The massage started right on time! Wow! Then it ended also right on dot after two hours, no cutting time here! Fantastic! As for the quality of the massage itself, was better than I expected, the therapist Irina did her best. And also, when I came into the massage room, I noticed clean bedsheets!!! The reason for the 4 points instead of 5 is that there is a water fountain right in the room which was very loud and that was very disturbing and prevented me from dozing off to sleep as I usually do during a two hour massage. Plus of course the misunderstanding about the kind of massage I wanted in the first place. Now this place strikes me as a Spa with a lot of Asian decor and influences with all the chinese pictures and the water fall which is supposedly to be good fung shui but in my opinion, not in the massage room. There are even red packages (ang pow) in the waiting area (obviously for tips) again a very chinese touch. But as you come in the Spa, the waiting room was very dark which seems to go against fung shui if that is what they are aiming for. Oh I forgot to mention that while I was filling out the form for my massage, the manager asked me if I wanted any thing to drink, coffee, tea, water, champagne, or any chocolate!! Wow, this is as close to five star service, I have to say. Now I understand that they have just opened, or as I understood, bought over so new management, so lets just hope they keep up to the standards in the long run. I had the worst facial experience ever. Had an appointment with Emily. She came in 20 minutes late and didn't see what type of skin I have. She just applied bunch of stuff on my face and I came home with my face all red then broke out so bad after that. Will never come back again. read more

Absolutely amazing!! Extremely relaxing body wrap! The ambiance is very serene. I recommend the coffee body wrap! I'm definitely going back.

I found this gem of a place by a Z Spot deal. Both my husband and I have been there and all we could say are good things about it. Immediately as you enter, the ambiance and serenity kicks in and relaxes you right away. Staff are very pleasant and so willing to make your experience a delight. read more
