I walked in to find 4 stylists sitting in their chairs having a conversation with each other, one of them hopped up and immediately asked if I had an appointment. (I did not) I asked if one was required and she said "normally yes". In my experience every Cost Cutters location I have ever been to thrives on walk in appointments. She then told me to wait and she would see if she could fit me in. I sat for about 10 minutes as all 4 employees continued to sit and talk with each other. Towards the end of this one appointment did walk in for one of the stylists. After those 10 minutes (and likely when it became apparent that I was going to wait) one of the employees asked me to come back. To be clear I had no issue with waiting as a walk in, but to sit and wait for them when they were very clearly just goofing off was an issue for me. The person who cut my hair was friendly and did a good job, but the prices are high (compared to Great Clips or other similar places) and they didn't seem to care if they had my business. TL:DR - Horrible customer service and no longer a cost effective option for a simple trim

When my friends and colleagues saw me they couldn't believe it. I reached out to her. I wanted resolution, I felt I should be refunded since now I have to pay a fortune to have corrective color done and she refused to acknowledge me and tried to say it was my shampoo and conditioner. Which by the way is Kerastse high quality product color safe. I had only washed my hair three times and all the low lights pulled out. Do not go to Tanya for color of any type. She tried to tell me she had 20 years experience. I can assure you nobody with 20 years of experience of doing color would have done what she did to my hair. Please see attached photos.
