I have been to countless tried and failed "blonde specialists" before I found Amy, and it was only until I found her that I discovered true hair zen. With her skill and thoughtful attention to my wants and needs, we achieved the "lived in blonde" I've always wanted without damaging my hair. I also experimented with extensions for about 3 years with Amy, and she is so talented at placement and blending my hair with the extensions. She even patiently coached me on how to style and care for my new locks. Not only is Amy amazingly good at what she does, she's also an absolute pleasure to talk to. She's easy-going, knowledgeable, caring and attentive. Thank you Amy for being the best hair stylist and colorist a girl could ever ask for!!

I'm giving this two stars because the salon is beautiful and the people were nice. Other than that…read morefor an IBE move up.. I'd give it one star. I came in to have a row of extensions moved up. ( with Emily in June) For the one row move up I was quoted $150 which is more than I paid for in big city life of seattle but I figured I would give it a shot. NORMAL routine for a move up. 1. Remove the row 2. Wash the clients hair and the extensions 2. Separate the wefts 3. Reinstall one at a time in a continuous process of course 4. Dry the Client's hair 5. Style. What I received? The row removed and reinstalled poorly. When I asked if she was going to wash my hair or separate the wefts she said it wasn't necessary . I don't know if this is Standard protocol there or if she was just being lazy. I've never received this poor of service for a move up. When I finally went to a different salon to have it moved up, her service was not only top-notch but she pointed out that my move up was not even done properly. Which I kind of had a feeling because the way that the row started to slip in certain areas and the corners started to lift. Not sure if this was an individual stylist issue or that is their protocol. But I'm so glad I found someone who did it right elsewhere! Lastly, I had a friend who went in for a money piece coloring on a short Bob and paid $75! That seems astronomical but maybe they just have a minimum. ‍

No shit. He over talked me every time I tried to say something. He said he couldn't achieve the color that my previous stylist did with no problem. I was just trying to find someone closer to home. I ended up leaving without any service and felt like I just got gaslighted by my ex-husband. Total dick.
