Less than Zero is what this business deserves. The two employees we dealt with were rude, with a considerable attitude towards their customer. This business was sold a few years back and even though they carry the name its not locally owned. Our car was towed do to the driver being transported via ambulance as the police requested the tow as a matter of standard operating procedures. The driver was unimpaired and was not involved in any violations or ticketing. The vehicle was towed approximately five miles that was involved in an accident with a deer. When we went to recover the auto we were told we had to wait till Monday to recover the car. The companies website says open 24 hours a day that's not the case. When we called to get the vehicle we were told we had to wait till Monday and that there would be a $50.00 per day fee that would be assessed for storage per day. So I guess if you are out of town or your car gets towed to their facility you have to wait till a week day. How convenient for them. So after two days storage the the tow was 370.00. We called to notify them we were coming to collect it and they said sure. Upon arriving we walked in and we were then told they only accept cash. Kinda makes ya wonder who is making what. According to the companies website they accept all major credit cards. Not only did they not tell us prior to arrival we were told in person they only accept cash. We also were told we were being charged an undisclosed amount because it was a police tow and Beaupre's towing had to clean up the area which was completely false as we returned to the scene, and they did not even pick up the tail light debris. So they must charge for the police or must have some agreement with the police as they locked up the vehicle and charged us a daily $50.00 fee so what is so special about it being a police tow that we got charged additionally on top of the storage fees? Unprofessional, rude, shady, cocky staff, cash only, strong arm tactics is what we encountered for sure. All and all I would stay clear of this business. I was from out of town and involved in a multi car collision. These guys couldn't have been nicer. Met me at the impound and let me get personal items out of my car. Eventually towed it 100 miles (each way) to my body shop. Curtis, in particular was so helpful. read more

I hired this company to towe my vehicle in which this company caused damage to my bumper and paint damage. From the jump they dod not offer to pay for the damage to my vehicle and would not provide their insurance coverage. The offer of not paying for the towe was not sufficient of an excuse. And I paid for the towe. Not even my insurance agent could get their info. If this site offered a zero star for a rating, I would have chosen this. If this does happen to you call them police and file a police report which would have compelled them to give over their insurance information. read more

Very nasty people. I would push my car up a hill in winter before I'll use them. Hang up on before giving you any type of warn. Not open on the weekend. So if your car is towed you end up paying an additional 100. 00. Make no compromise for that at all. read more

We were heading back from a trip and got a flat tire on our coach. Roadside assistance through our insurance company was ineffective - after calling multiple places we called K&H Truck plaza. Although we have towing they did not have the equipment to tow the coach so they suggested Beaupre's towing. Not only was Beaupre's able to help us, the driver was extremely courteous and friendly and went out of his way to be helpful. Once he got us to the repair shop he even waited to see if I was able to get a rental car and was willing to take me and drop me off the rental car facility. That turned out not to be necessary, but the fact that he waited around was so helpful was impressive. Very positive experience and very much appreciated. read more

One of my trucks got into an accident, the police called Beaupre towing to get the road cleared. The tow driver was very rude to our driver, as well as the dispatcher over the phone. The office personnel was no better. We then had another driver ready to take our empty shipping container and they would not allow us to unhook the container from the damaged truck. Now they have towed the semi-truck with an empty 40' shipping container and chassis unnecessarily back to their yard. We attempted to pay over the phone with a credit card, and they would not allow us to do so. Someone must physically come into their office to get our equipment released, resulting in an extra day of storage at their facility for a truck and container. read more

The worst towing company I've ever had to deal with. The person who came to tow my car was out of line and rude. My hood flew up and hit my glass, the POLICE who does business with them called them ( i did not, i didn't even have time to call my own company they did it so fast) and had them come. When they got there they towed my car literally 5 feet across the street into a parking lot, because my family told the officer we could handle it from there. After they towed it literally 5 feet accross the street that's when the office then said that i owe Beaupre's $80!!!! HOW?! They towed my car accross the street and before hand we didn't even discuss the cost they just did it! So when the employee from Beaupre's heard me speaking to the cop he budded into our conversation and started to be very rude saying things like "what do you expect for us to do our job for free?" "If you don't give me my $80 I'll tow your car and you won't get it until tomorrow and the it'll be $250." The sad part is i KNEW NOTHING ABOUT $80 UNTIL HE HAD MY CAR ALREADY HOOKED UP! Then i started telling the officer that he was being very rude (he even agreed) and i started to repeat to the employee several times " your being rude, your being rude" he proceeded to yell at me and tell me shut up. He was upset with me, but the entire time i was never told any pricing and the COP EVEN ADMITTED THAT he didn't tell me he just assumed. And he was still being rude. He even called me a bitch and i never called him any names. The absolute worst experience I've ever had. Also, never got a receipt or confirmation that i paid. He just drove off. I think that he charged me more and that he didn't report my funds that were taken in. Even if he did report it. It was a huge rip off and the employee was very very out of line and disrespectful. Beaupre's is the WORST establishment, business of any kind I've ever experienced. My husband and I were in our car, when it rolled over into a ditch on Saturday outside of Kankakee. That night we arranged with insurance to have our car towed, but we found out the next morning that beaupre's had STOLEN our car and is now holding it hostage at their lot which is now locked. When we arrived at the business office the next morning, we were informed that they were charging us 3 times the rate our insurance's wrecker had arranged to charge us. When we asked to speak to the supervisor about negotiating the price, they told us NO! When we insisted, they informed us that they would no longer be accepting credit card as payment because "people like us who argue don't pay their credit card bill!" To make matters worse, they showed us our car's registration that they had retrieved from our locked vehicle. So, not only had they stolen our car, they vandalized it! Like rolling over into a ditch wasn't bad enough, we have been punished by having to deal with beaupre's!! God forbid this happens again, but if it does I'd rather put the car on my back than have beaupre tow it. Yelp won't let me give them 0 stars! read more

I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are not open 24 hours, they have 24 hour on call (so if trying to get your car out to avoid the storage fees you can not). They charge a daily storage fee to have your car there for repairs. They do not inform you of the charges prior to them towing the car read more
