If I could select zero stars I would…read more My 2002 Honda Civic unfortunately broke down and had to be towed to the nearest mechanic. I had the misfortune of having it towed here. I called the location in the morning and when I mentioned that I thought it was head gasket issue the man on the phone scolded me and told me I had no idea what I was talking about. He gave me a grandiose lecture on how he knows all about cars and has been doing it for x amount of years. He was extremely rude and dismissive. He called me several days later and told me it was NOT a head gasket. I then took my car to the Meineke on the same road (where the man was very kind by the way) and they told me that my car did, in fact, have a severe head gasket issue. Not only is this mechanic extremely disrespectful, but he also apparently has no clue what he's talking about. I'm sorry but if a 20 year old woman knows more about cars than you do you may want to rethink your career. What a waste of time and energy.

The vehicle was of a family members, but treated as my own. John was more honest about what all could be wrong, but still reassuring of what could also be done. The part was miniscule but needing to be ascertained elsewhere. Although we waited hours till arrival of the part, John tailored to our needs and wants.
