A TON of them have complaints about management and communication... Despite that we decided to take a look at them... made an app of online to come view on a weekend in one of their scheduled time slots, had a confirmation email, and made our hour and 15 min drive to this remote location only to have NO ONE show up. And to top it off their phone number on the front of the resort on their sign isn't even their number.... Finally got a hold of someone through a different number from the confirmation email and they tried to say we never had an approval even though I'm looking at a confirmation email... no apologies, no "hey I'm sorry we can have someone there in 30 min", just straight up blame and attitude on the phone and no compassion for us having spent 2.5 hrs of our day driving to see NOTHING! We won't be back!!! On the bright side... at least this happened before we spent a single dollar with them and not three weeks out from wedding time like so many frustrations and reviews you see on wedding sights.... and now we're doing destination anyway!!!

The weather turned out to be a beautiful day…read more The weather had been rainy but Lem graciously worked with us to find the time to get our ride in. Ruthie was our guide and she made sure we were all comfortable. The scenery was beautiful and it was so peaceful. We stopped for a break at the bluff overlooking the river and had a snack and beverage. Lem showed us how to lasso a calf and we laughed at our skills. All and all, it was a memorable ride and the highlight of our trip to Waco. I highly recommend Brazos Bluffs Stables.
