If I could give more than 5 star I would, website is clear, instructions and information is ease to find and understand. They will send you a text one day prior to remind you of your appointment, for only $5,0 you can buy their insurance and cancel the ride if you need in less than 12 hours before your ride, very convenient. But I am so glad we did not had the cancel, The ranch is stunning, horses are strong and well taken care of of. We had the pleasure of having Ruthie and Drew for our ride and they are simply amazing. The property is huge and the climb to the top was so worth it! The sunset was stunning. I truly recommend this ranch for anyone, you will have the most special ride. Thank you Ruthie and Drew for having us.

Horseback trail ride has been on my buckets list of things I wanted to do with my babies. Brazos Bluffs Ranch made it possible in more than one aspect of the sense: they were more Local than other trail rides with food options, the prices are reasonable for all that is included, the ranch ladies were extremely patient with my first timers, courteous & so very friendly. The horses were all healthy and well behaved. The grounds were clean. The trails were everything and more than I could of imagined and hoped for. At the halfway point we stopped at an overlook with amazing views which included as I mentioned previously snacks, cold beverages and ice cream floats. It's been a week and a half and my babies have begged me everyday to go back. I can't wait to take them back in the fall when we can have bonfires, s'mores and hot chocolate. THANK YOU Brazos Bluff Ranch for helping me scratch off 1 item on my family's bucket list of adventures

Whenever my wife and I go on a vacation we try to go riding. Some places are ok; some aren't. This place was top notch! The online reservations were easy to make. When we arrived we were greeted by friendly staff. The horses were saddled and ready to go and were clearly well taken care of. Our trail guides were Ricky and Amber and they were very personable and genuine , which you don't find too often when riding at a stable you're not familiar with. We took the sunset ride which is a two-hour ride that takes you through some of the most beautiful land I've ridden on in Texas. We rode up hills, down into valleys and through forest areas as well as gorgeous meadows and ended up at the top of a bluff overlooking the Brazos River at sunset. We got back to the stables at twi-light, which was also a pleasant surprise (and a first in all the places we've ridden) Oftentimes trail rides take place on horses that are plain worn out - these horses were definitely not worn out. At various times we took off on a nice fast-paced trot, which also rarely happens on stable rides. Without a doubt this was probably the best trail ride we've been on, and we've ridden at stables all over the U.S. and in a number of foreign countries. We plan to schedule a private ride the next time we come and will likely schedule a stay at the guest house.

Great care of the land and the animals. Ruthie and Savannah were terrific in their demeanor and love of their job. We had a terrific experience and definitely recommend it to anyone wanting a personal touch, a spot for relaxation and beautiful scenery.

We happened to stay in Waco at an Airbnb for a thanksgiving week and it was perfect as this location was about a 5 minute walk. We were introduced by our guide where he gave us about a 10 minute introduction on our horses and the basics on how to ride the horse. If you're a beginner, no worries, pretty simple instructions. It was pretty chilly but the scenery while riding the trails were beautiful and so you kinda forget how cold it is. There is one low steep down but not anything to be afraid of, it was pretty cool. We rode to the top where we were able to have a beautiful view of the Brazos River and our guide Lem took a couple pictures which was awesome. He was pretty knowledge and also gave us some recommendations on places to eat afterwards. Overall it was a wonderful experience! The only thing I would recommend is if we could have went faster with our horses, other than that, it was wonderful!

We did the trail ride and it was amazing! The scenery was spectacular and was great for first time riders. The horses were well behaved (as well behaved as a horse can be) and everyone in our group had an amazing time. Our lead was amazing and he did a great job making sure everyone was together and having fun. Highly recommend them again!

Easy to mount!

Amazing experience! Don't pass it up! I have some experience riding and went with others who were not so experienced. Our guide (name started with a D I believe but can't remember) was great about addressing us at our respective skill levels and was super laid back. He gave us the basics and we were off to the trail in about 5 min. The trail itself was gorgeous and the horses were easy to manage for the most part. Our guide was very knowledgeable and told us a bit about the area as well. Thanks so much for a great time! Wish we lived closer! It was money well spent.

Just reining!

I've ridden at BBR for several years now and they always do a great job. Having rode horses my whole life, I typically find trail riding boring, but not here! The wranglers always impart something new to the experience, whether it's equine or terrain related. Today I learned the original name of the Brazos River, but I'm not telling, you'll have to visit or google it! The wrangler managed my daughter & me, both experienced riders, with two brand newbies so well. The horses are well cared for & the sunset experience (I did that previously) is amazing! Make this a definite to-do when visiting Waco! And locals...come discover this gem!

My bf and I absolutely enjoyed our FIRST TIME EVER horseback riding! Thank you Lem and the super friendly staff for making our experience truly unforgettable. We appreciated all the instructions and advice before beginning our tour in the beautiful ranch. All your horses are so beautiful. We miss Billy and Bullseye.

My two boys, ages 7 & 9, had a wonderful day making lasting memories of our trip to Waco and the Brazos River.

I didn't realize that the #Magnolia properties are closed on Sunday, so I found other fun ways to get the Waco hospitality from the moment I arrived. I was actually glad that I got to see the town for what it is a few days before people traveled there from all over for #Silobration. I look forward to returning to Waco for a longer visit! I booked this tour through the Viator website and the tour group was really responsive from the beginning. I was actually concerned that my bus arriving to town might cause the tour to be delayed if they waited for me, but they were so kind with accommodating my schedule. It all worked out as it should timewise. I really enjoyed learning about Waco from Shannon and Don's perspective. First of all they are super friendly and welcoming and make you feel like neighbors! They shared stories of individuals from this small town who had done great things. They talked about big natural disasters that the town overcame! They showed us the natural beauty of the area around the zoo, and the rivers around town. I loved the college town feel too that made me long to go back to those college days. I also got to see several of my favorite fixer upper homes as we drove through town - many of which are now airbnbs! I don't want to spoil all that they shared, but I highly recommend their tour and will definitely return to do their river sunset tour. I also really appreciated that since they knew I was on foot and trying to get to the Dr Pepper Museum before they closed in less than an hour, they offered to drop me off there, which is not the normal ending point for the tour.

My friend and I drove around on our own and passed many of the points of interest that are on the tour. However, without being in Brad and Don's company, we would have never known about the history of the city... or been there for their dad jokes (ha,ha!). The reason I didn't give it a full five stars is because it's mainly a driving tour. It's hard to hear the commentary from the back of the bus; and, we only stopped twice: once to see Common Grounds and get a drink, and the second to stop in a park to see a view. It was quite chilly in their Sprinter; and I would have preferred to have more places to explore from outside the vehicle.

The horses in their care came from some bad situations, but now are surrounded by love and friends. They work so hard to get the horses healthy and hopefully into new loving homes. It's just amazing! I had a unique experience with this group through Girl Scouts. I heard about a hands on class they offer for Scouts to come out and learn about horses in a very hands on manner. I booked my Troop of 4th graders for a 3 hour class. During the class, my girls got to meet all of the horses, learn about their backstories, learn how to take care of horses, and even learned to ride unassisted at the end. Ms. Sherry worked with me to get my Troop booked for the event. She was so helpful and easy to work with. She ran our visit too. She had these 9 year olds out there cleaning and brushing the horses, getting dirty and messy, trying new things, and making them all feel valued. Ms. Sherry is an spitfire angel! I believe they also offer affordable horse back riding lessons for all ages to help fund their rescue mission. I highly recommend checking into Peaceful Acres for education events or to volunteer. They are doing good things that make your heart feel good helping.
