The regular staff are very professional and courteous to customers needs and wants. The wait time can be a little slow at times but given the food is consistently good this is not a major problem as I would rather wait a little longer and know that I will be served an appetising meal. So I can recommend this establishment without reservation. I would even say that Sav's is by far the best cafe / food place in Jimboomba and surrounding area. We appreciate it was Mother's Day and more busy than usual, but if you're going to cater for large gatherings and special occasions, and book to capacity, then make sure you have the staff and capability to adequately service your customers. This is the larger one, the other is across the road, and while I poked my head in the door, I didn't get anything. So the pies. Yep, they're pretty good! There's plenty of seating inside and out, with a big verandah surrounding the building, and there appears to be some off street parking out the back. We nabbed one on the street though. Eating in, the pie is brought out on a plate, sauce in a little cup on the side, and if you get chips with gravy, you get fresh chips and a little cup of gravy too. The gravy was delicious, by the way. But this isn't just a pie shop. You can get chicken parma, steaks, breakfasts, there's plenty to eat here, including what looked like a nice selection of desserts. We stopped in on the way to Lamington, it's pretty much last town before you make the climb, so definitely worth a stop and this is a good place to grab a bite to eat. The staff were all pretty friendly too. I wouldn't mind stopping in again sometime and checking out one of the larger meals.
