As a recommendation from friends that use Bears frequently, I have to say I know why, they are very professional and honest. My initial call was on a Sunday. I spoke to a woman (I wish I could remember her name) she was very polite and helpful. She let me know since it was after hours the charge would be higher than normal business hours. With that knowledge I waited until Monday. I returned the call on Monday and spoke with the same lady and she was just as polite and honest as she was on Sunday. She dispatched the truck and was at my location within the hour. The truck truck driver (Bob) was just as polite and professional. He was very thorough while inspecting the truck before loading. My truck was in somewhat of a thigh parking spot. With his expertise, he loaded my truck with ease. I will, without a doubt, definitely use them again in the future. Zero stars. I was charged $1600 to have my tractor trailer towed 4 miles. The driver complained the entire time about having to come out to tow me. Their dispatcher was also very rude. Did I mention the 8% credit card fee? read more

Pros and Cons: Pros: The truck arrive pretty quickly, and the person who I talked to on the phone was friendly and professional. Cons: The truck driver was extremely rude. My husband only asked if we needed to move the vehicle for him (the lady on the phone had asked if we could move it some due to the tight parking lot), but the driver twice answered with rude remarks about letting him do his job using curse words. My disabled husband and I are in our 60's and had our 3 young granddaughters with us. I have never heard someone talk to customers like that in a business setting. I don't recommend this company unless you enjoy being talked to rudely. read more

I am from out of town and blew a tire on the way back to school. The truck came pretty quick and the service was ok but the driver made me leave my dog in the car being towed in the middle of summer with only the windows cracked. That is unacceptable and should have never happened. My dog is a small dog with the ability to lay on my lap. He could have suffered heat stroke or gotten injured. read more

Had my truck towed to them to fix water pump. What I received back is a truck with a new water pump that leaks, and $1,400.00 worth of damage to my front end. Could have been worse considering the damage they did to front tie bar and steering stabilizer. Truck went out of control hitting a bump on an overpass and almost killed us. Of course they denied it and covered nothing. I really hate people who are frauds and liars let alone put a family at risk. Go to this place, be ready to get a lawyer like I had to to make things right. read more

We called another tow company first and they were going to have to call another driver to push the vehicle into position. We cancel them and called Bears. I have used bears towing at least 4 different times, so I am not judging too quickly. Bears towing is the least professional towing service I've had to use. Each time a Bears towing employee has arrived to tow my vehicle they were either rude and unpleasant or hardly acknowledged me at all. On the occasions I have needed to ride in the tow truck the trucks were dilapidated such as: dashboards smashed and missing pieces, windshields cracked across the whole window, seat covers ripped beyond repair, etc. On the most recent occasion I've had to use Bears towing the driver only acknowledged me with a he'd nod and when I got in the beat up truck he immediately picked up his phone a started a personal call in which he spoke very openly about drugs and alcohol. HORRIBLE Business .. horrible people and specifically the two twin ladies ( I believe ) !? One of them assured me that I would get my truck out asap,etc.. I let her know it would be paid by the end of that day and she told me no worries ,blah blah blah ... LIAR! They shipped my truck to Texas at an AUCTION ... WOW??? I didn't have my truck for damn near a month and then they treat me like shit when I FINALLY was able to pick it up not to mention I had to pay the fee's as if I chose not to pick my truck up 3 weeks primor .. HA?? They could have replaced my parts,etc.. for all I know ! Do not use these people they are terrible and they literally tried to steal my truck bc it was fairly new and almost paid off .. literally!!
