Also, my sink hot water tap will blast red rusty water at random times when used. So please keep an eye out for this.

It doesn't look like much on the outside, but on the inside it is up-to-date and comfortable. They have a good hot breakfast. The hotel has two floors with no elevator, which made it impossible for my wife to ascend to the second floor room that they had reserved for us - and there were no lower level rooms available. It was Thanksgiving, end of day, and there were likely no other rooms available in town. Thankfully, the hotel staff was very understanding and gracious in moving another guest who had not yet checked in to the second floor making it possible to stay the night. Only four stars because I was very explicit in my reservation that we needed a lower level room (booked months earlier), but my request was ignored / not confirmed.

Couldn't ask for much more to be in this small town nestled on the outskirts of Killarney. We were camping at Killarney Provincial Park and Sportsman's was our oasis of civilization. We came down here to hang out with our pooch and were greeted by the most helpful and lively server. We sat on the deck to enjoy the view of the harbor out to Lake Huron where we watched boats pass by and people scurry around on the dock. The weather was right and the beers were cold. We were relaxing. It was a nice getaway from our campsite and we enjoyed every minute of it. Any place that serves up a killer basket of fries and has a good sandwich is a solid in my book. This place had all that and then some. If ever in the area we'll be back!
