My family and I were up for two nights to start a canoe trip on the French River system. My brother and I planned this trip and of course we made a lodging call last minute. The owners Caitland and Mike were great to deal with and helped make our trip a dream. Caitland even has a tackle shop and was able to handle our fishing licenses for us. Cabins were clean and cozy and the views beautiful. Our boys swam in the lake front and fished. Mike's dad even got to see one of our boys fall in while fishing. Truly a great place to stay and wonderful people to get to know a little! Great Escape Cabins will be our first call when heading up for more canoe trips in the future! read more
