This place is wonderful! I have a friend who is an artist/photographer who sent us some exceptional prints. I wanted to have it matted and framed, and I needed it done to perfection - this was going into my office, where constituents, colleagues, stakeholders, etc., would be coming and going. I wanted the framing to be as exceptional as the prints themselves. I walked in, and the sales associate there was very pleasant! She took her time (spent over an hour with me) and laid out various matting and framing options. She insisted we think about the wall color that I would be hanging these from, she said that will matter. I did not even think about that, and I am so glad we took this into account! Needless to say, the prints are hanging in my office, and they look wonderful! read more

Beard's Framing - Framed mixed media heron - Framing Near Me - Vancouver, Washington

Brent at Beard's framing was the absolute best!! He went above and beyond to ensure that I got my managers retirement photo done with only a couple days notice. He even worked with other businesses to make sure we got the proper photo and engraving done. The finished product looks amazing and my manager really enjoyed it. Thank you Brent for your exceptional work and customer service! 1000/10 would highly recommend!! read more

Wonderful customer service-Sandy had great artistic input & knows their stock inside & out. Price was very reasonable for great quality work. I just had 9 pieces worked on, cleaned, re-matted, or new frames; and even repurposed a frame by cutting it down to fit something new. I couldn't be happier, my art never looked so good. read more

After having Brent replace a broken frame on a beloved picture, I came back to him with a 'vision'. I wanted to create a baby collage of pictures which included my daughter's baby pictures, her partner's baby pictures, and their baby's first pictures. I knew in my mind what I wanted, and with his creative ideas and attention to detail, including matting and framing, it became the most beautiful end product! My 'family' loved the finished collage. Thank you, Brent! Holly R read more

I was in a huge rush trying to get a print matted and framed before heading out of town as it was a gift for someone that just lost their father (picture of them with their father). Recognizing that projects are typically a few days out I wasn't sure if they could help however they were empathetic to my urgent need and were able to quickly help me and send me on my way! So grateful for their kindness and the end result was a beautifully matted framed picture! Thank you to Brent and Sandy!!! read more

The service here is fantastic. Every time I have ever come in, employees greet you and make you feel welcome. They work very hard in order to satisfy the needs of their clients. Brent and his staff always go out of their way to make customers happy. In addition, they take a great deal of care when providing services. The prints I had framed look fantastic and show the hard work and pride that the staff put into everything they do. Please do consider them. You won't be disappointed! read more

Thought I would give them a try rather than crossing the river. Quality was acceptable but price was about 25-30% more than my usual vendor. Even at $5 a gallon gas I will go back to my vendor across the river. read more

Great quality, but minus stars for being unnecessarily overpriced, and the employees (non-owner) are not nearly as knowledgeable as the owner/manager. Also, when I went to pick up my order there was some debris behind the glass. They noticed and fixed it, but I had to come back again the next day and it's a bit out of the way for me. read more

Pleasantly surprised. After a bad experience at Joanne's I stopped in here. Fantastic customer service. Brent seems to really care about the work. Received my order ahead of time and under budget. Thank you! read more

Ever since moving to Vancouver, WA three years ago, Beard's Framing has been our go-to source for photo and print framing. We are so glad we found this store! Brent Owens and his staff are knowledgable, creative, friendly and professional. Their quality work is first-rate. We have many of their finished products hanging on our walls, have several more in the works right now, and we're looking forward to ordering metal prints from them in the near future. read more

Beard's did a great job on my kids' self-portraits. 4 1/2 stars. Pricey, but I feel like I got what I paid for. They're in a great location right next to I-5, and the woman behind the counter carried my pieces out to my car, which was an unexpected and nice surprise. Terrific service - from beginning to end. read more

I've had several things framed here through the many years that I have lived around this area! Although a bit on the spendy side they do an excellent job!" 5 stars*****! ''Thank you'' read more

They were so helpful when I needed to frame a photo for my husband's office. He loved it! I will definitely use them again..

Brent went out of his way to make sure my project arrived on time for the birthday party. He was very patience with me on exactly how I wanted the print. Did you know they will print your picture from a thumb drive up to wall size. WHO KNEW. I recommend you check them out, I know I will be back. Thanks again Brent you are wonderful! read more

Beard's is overpriced, and the manager speaks badly about the customers behind their backs. In addition, the manager at this store is not indiscriminate in his offers of "special pricing" to certain customers. And wow, don't expect the manager of this store to be pleased if you use a "groupon" to receive a discount. Kindness goes a long way, and I wouldn't expect to find any at this store. Regarding the review from Susan B., it may have appeared the way it did while "Meredith" was working there, as she is genuinely warm and kind; but, she has moved on. read more

I'm working on a huge project to restore 30 old La Center High School graduation group photos. I bring 3 or 4 at a time. Brent and Merideth are wonderful people to work with! They share an appreciation for these historical treasures. When I walk into the store I'm greeted as an old friend. I would 100% recommend them! I went into the shop yesterday wanting to get a picture set in a frame I already had. It needed to be secured and wire installed so I'd be able to hang it. A VERY nice man Brent, greeted me and said he would do it right then, no waiting! And best of all he didn't charge me! I couldn't believe it. I will definitely go back. Great work and very professional. read more

I've had a few occasions to have framing done during the past couple of years and can wholeheartedly recommend Beard's in Hazel Dell. Brent and Meredith are warm and engaging people who really care about the treatment of your art piece. My first piece was a vintage photo of my mother, who passed in 2013. Brent's kindness was greatly appreciated as I reminisced about her, not quite able to hold myself together over her recent loss. The finished product showcased her beauty and reminds me of her every day. My second piece was a memorial gift for a friend who recently lost her mother. Meredith and Brent were both very patient with the selection of the mat and frame and my friend was so pleased with the result that she cried when it was presented. If you're looking for a place that will do a beautiful job for you while honoring your piece at the same time, Beard's is the place for you. read more

I could not be more pleased with my experience with Beard's Framing. Their staff is prompt, kind, knowledgeable, artistic, and friendly. They went the extra mile in helping me with my framing project, even providing me with extra supplies. While there I saw a different kind of project displayed and they showed me different examples of it and even showed me how to do it. I was very impressed and will definitely be back. I encourage anybody who wants a positive framing experience for a good price to frequent Beard's Framing. You will be glad you did. read more

I took two posters, frames, foam board and UV protected plexiglass to this frame shop to be mounted. I would have and could have done it myself but my framing equipment (mat cutter, staplers and tape) were at our house in Arizona. All I needed them to do was put the plexiglas (precut to correct size) enlarged photos of my son-in-law (who passed away 3 weeks prior) (precut to correct size), foam-board (precut to correct size) into the premade frames and staple that altogether. $208. YGBSM! I knew there was a reason I hadn't been back there in about 15 years----THEY ARE A RIP-OFF! I took the materials to Michaels in Janzen Beach and had it done for $54----and it came out beautiful! No stars----I would take stars away if I could.. read more

I've had many things framed here at Beard's and have been absolutely delighted with each and every piece. The skill and patience of choosing just the right color of matting or combination of mattings, not to even forget the right color, texture and width of frame is what they excel at! What seems daunting to me is so seamless to them. I would never hesitate to take the most expensive piece of art to them or even a small inexpensive token. Both will come back being shown at the optimal best! read more
