this brewery is bad, simply put. bad service, bad drinks. only brewery i go to where i cant find something i like at all, after trying plenty of items. On top of that their employees are rude and actually have egos like weirdos rofl. I asked a worker which one of the three slushies was the most popular, pretty simple question. He responded with "well we change it everyday so... rolls eyes and walks away" very rude very useless. how hard is it to tell somehow which slushie of the 3 you're serving is the most popular? little secret they all suck. rofl. learn from your counterparts at rodeo x, staff there is much better. Also ive been coming here since rodeo 39 opened so its not a 1 off experience with this place, its every time. read more

Not happy with the level of professionalism and consistency at this bar. They think that because a it's busy at rodeo 39, they can give you horrible pours and neglect basic service. Will not be coming back here read more

Great quick service! I ordered one of their fruit peach beers and it has a great subtle flavor with some hops. It's great refreshing and light beer! They had live music presented by Miss Lady B! It was a great wonderful vibe and had deals on their specialty drinks. They had many more on tap from sweet to bitter drinks and have some sours too! I would highly recommend coming at the night time to come and vibe out with everyone. It is a fun time and great energy to be around! read more

Parking and seating can be rough but the beer is excellent. We've gone each time we've been in town since finding it.

Been going here since they opened. Brewery is awesome let me just say that. However, I Used to come a lot more often since it's across the street from my place. But they stopped making sours about 1 year ago. They used to have the best sours, the peach sour , raspberry sour, and many more. Bring them back read more

drove almost 1 hr. (on a hot day) to be here for first 2024 Monday night football game to drink beers and eat with friends, and the staffs/manager on duty said it was blackout on all TVs due to whoever the tv provider/subscriber???....btw the game will broadcast on local channel TV ABC7, so it's free over the air...if you run a brewery with full bar license and can't get a local tv channel on then idk ...and it's only Monday.... sport TVs need to improve read more

I looove Bearded Tang! I've never gone to Rodeo 39 without having at least one beer from here. I think they have a great variety and offer samples and the staff are always nice. Sometimes the line does get long and it might be a little confusing to see where it starts but the wait is worth it. My favorite is the coffee beer, Vlad the Barista I believe it's called. I tried a lot of different ones as well and a recent favorite is the toasted coconut with vanilla beer and one called Pogwarts which is pineapple, orange, and guava. read more

The beer Gods smiled on me the day I found this place randomly. I had a flight and think this is one of the best breweries around because the styles of beer they serve are delicious and distinct. I find a lot of breweries styles of beer usual taste similar to each other. Fun atmosphere and service! read more

Great brewery with fantastic beer, in an awesome venue. Lots of food options so you won't have to argue with your friends on what to eat! Bar right behind them if you aren't a beer person as well read more

Really wanted to try this place as a beer enthusiast however I sat for 5 minutes while two employees talked to only each other. Had to get up and walk away. I've had bearded tang before in other breweries with guest handles. Disappointed. read more

Ahhhhmazing! The staff was so friendly and the beer was so good. I will definitely be back. Great location with lots of food options too.

I had a pretty terrible experience here recently. We've been here a few times and have always had a nice time. This particular incident I was sitting at the bar with a buddy and the bartender was just being extremely rude and arrogant to our group. It felt like he was intentionally trying to give us a hard time about everything and just being flat out unpleasant. It was strange because we were completely sober and being very polite. It seemed like he hated his job and didn't feel like being there that day. Young kid with a mustache and a bad chip on his shoulder. We thought it was just us but it really wasn't, we stayed at the bar for 20 mins and watched treat at least 2 other groups like crap. Paid for our beers and left, last time we're coming back. read more

This place doesn't have enough reviews. The bartenders were always nice and attentive. They let you eat food here that your purchased from outside. The IPAs are good. read more

Ok so this is my first time here. I heard so much about this place, decided to stop by here for some drinks. As we walk up to the bar( like I said this is my first time here) the two bartenders stand there talking. We ask one of the guy that we would like to have some beer. The girl walk up(Briahna the bartender ) she seem like she didn't even want to help us. My BF ask her what beer would she recommend? She gave him an attitude like he's stupid or something. I'm sorry we didn't know what kind of beer your company brew that's is why we ask u to recommend for us. We're not a beer drinker so we wouldn't know. Excuse me!!! Than I ask her if this the beer list we can choose from? She than turn and look at the other bartender and said YES !! It seem like she's making fun of us. Very unprofessional and RUDE!!!! This company need to train their employees again on how to do customer service. Beside for the the worst customer service the beer is awesome. But if I can give them zero star I would. read more

Warning - Ask for a receipt, I ordered 2 beers with a bill totaling to 14 and they didn't give me an option for a receipt so when I checked my CC few days later they helped themselves to 6 dollar tip totaling to 20. Shady AF. read more

Came on a Tuesday and had four different beers. Coming from someone who travels for beer I would say that they have some specially craft beer. I've had beers from Bottle Logic,Trademark, Ballast, just to make a few and I wouldn't mind coming back to Bearded Tang. Keri helped us out the entire time and made sure that we were happy. She even comped a drink for us just because we liked one over the other.... exceptional customer service. They add a great addition to Rodeo 39 and I'll definitely be back! I hope they're here to stay. read more

Just left RODEO 39 and could not wait to write this review for ANTHONY. He is extremely personable without being overwhelming or a 'D' of a bartender. With an extensive beer menu, we told him what we drink for hard liquor and he nailed it in beer form. He came around often as our pints got low and offered new flavors and even brought mini tasters, explaining the profile and what to expect. I didn't feel pressured to buy more drinks or even rushed out as we sat directly in front of the bar- taking up their space. He definitely make sure we were happy and comfortable. I watched him interact with other guests and it was just the same.. laid back and fun. thanks ANTHONY! come see me at buena park or irvine location!!! read more

Being a new establishment, criticism can be tough. Yes, you do have to purchase food prior to any beer ordered here. I can understand how many may feel some type of way about this but let's be realistic, it is a new establishment and it is their way of kindly supporting these upcoming businesses. As should we all! Now, my review is based on the environment, atmosphere and this brewery; right off the bat, the energy and vibes are lively, free, and comfortable. I want to highlight Bearded Tang Brewing, not just for their great selection of craft beers but their service. I'm 28, but I have been to enough bars to understand beer service etiquette. In my 7 years of bar attendance, I've never had a server as attentive as Keri. If she is working, you can expect to always have a beer in hand. She's the most accommodating and friendly host/server you'll ever encounter. Being a new establishment and bar, the menu could be vast and new. I tried about half of the beer menu, but the ones that I honestly did not enjoy.. was comped and taken off my tab as it was done out of respect and consideration of their consumers. After finding out that I did not enjoy their beer, they offered another. In which, I did enjoy a ton! THAT. That right there is customer service on crack. That said, if you decide to make a trip out.. Idk what their secret is but I promise you won't be disappointed with the Bearded Tang Brewery! read more
