You can get your booze and then go sit somewhere else with in the food court. The set up is kind of strange. It's like you have a giant warehouse with a bar in the middle of it; surrounded by small kiosks that sell very specific food.
This brewery is tucked in the Rodeo 39 Food Hall. Came here on Saturday afternoon before dinner and were able to find seats at the bar. We shared a flight since we couldn't decide what to try. My bf's favorite was Lucky Fin which was a Japanese rice lager (had some hints of sake flavor) and mine was Ink'd which had some chocolate notes.
Crafting their beer onsite, like, right behind the bar, Bearded Tang Brewing is the spot to hit up at Rodeo 39. THE DRINKS | Beers, wines, ciders, and seltzers. I drunk... - Carlos Danger | Award winning in the American Cream Ale category at the Great American Beer Festival 2022, this beer is refreshingly crisp with a slight yeasty finish. THE BEARDED TANG BREWING FEELS | Modern vibes; it's like your friendly neighborhood bar where everybody knows your name. THE PARKING SITUATION | Free parking outside of the food hall. No issues finding an open spot on a weekday, but weekends could be a different story. WOULD I COME BACK? | Yep, love the exceptionally long bar for everyone to hang out at and interested in trying out other beers.
I like Bearded Tang Brewing. I think I tried The Original Hazy (German Hefeweizen) and Vlad the Barista (Imperial Coffee Stout), they were delicious. They have a big selection of beers to choose from on draught so you'll find something you like here. They also have wine, cider and seltzer selections. They even have a hard seltzer slushy. They are located at Rodeo39 Public Market, a newer food and shopping hall! I've come here many times since they opened almost three years ago but this was my first time trying the brewery. They have a free parking lot. This plaza is pretty busy any time of the day so you might have to drive around to find parking. I just park a little further out. Service is friendly. The brewery has some of their own seating but there is also a lot of open seating at the market/food hall, inside and outside. I like the casual, yet modern vibes. Price point is fair.
STEPH JUDGEMENT: Good brews, friendly staff I've been here twice now and have to say that I'm a fan. Both were occasions when I had some time to kill waiting for people and I've found it to be a very pleasant spot to grab a brew and chill out. They have a nice selection of easy-to-drink selections and both times I ended up ordering hazy beers that were quite delicious. The staff have been friendly and helpful, answering questions, providing tasters, and keeping the counters neat and tidy. They also have a large screen tv playing sports, if that's your thing. I'm sure I'll be back again before too long.
I came here on a Sunday afternoon, it's in an open food court with many different food options. They served beers and cocktails. I had some of their cocktails. My bartender was very friendly and made me feel welcomed. There was plenty of seating on the bar top. Will be back again. It was 10 mins from my house.
The brewery is in a food court that has lots of options. There is lots of parking but it was so busy that a spot was tough to find. The beers: Kristal Weizen German Hefeweizen 2/5 (filtered but shouldn't be) The OG Hazy Hefeweizen 4/5 Rugger Bugger Irish Red 3.5/5 Tangy- Acai Blueberry sour 4/5
This Brewery is located inside of Rodeo 39 Public Market closer to the back of the market. Even if you don't drink Beer, there are other good options! They have Wines, Ciders, and Seltzers. I also saw 3 Slushie drinks. This last time I got a Prickly Paradise which is a Prickly Pear Cider. It is a little sweet and I really enjoyed it! I love the fish logo, a Tang that is bearded (as is in the name) with a pipe in its' mouth! It is just so cute! They are on the Beer Tap Pulls... all lined up in a row! Outside the rear of the market is an area with some games. You can see Bearded Tang inside to see about renting the equipment. They have lots of seating at their bar counter. If you don't want to sit there, you can take your drink anywhere on the premises of the market. I would like to try one of their slushies next visit!
I'm really hoping the beer here is better than the slushees because they were horrendous. I really wanted to get a beer but when I saw the slushees, especially it being such a hot and humid day, I figured why not try something different and hopefully unique or tasty enough to recommend this place. Man was I wrong. I ordered the froze and blue raspberry lemonade slushees, which came to about $22. The rose was gross. So bitter, dry, and absolutely no sweetness like a typical rose would have. The blue raspberry lemonade on the other hand was way too sweet and had no alcohol flavor. It seems like there was no balance between the two, one being way too strong and bitter, while the other was way too sweet and little alcohol.
Gosh tang, that was a fun night. Bearded Tang Brewing is a relatively new brewery that's located inside the Rodeo 39 Public Market. It's been on my radar because it's close to my base of operations during my visits to Orange County, and when I learned that they'd managed to win a gold medal at the 2021 Great American Beer Festival after just a year of operation, I grew even more interested in visiting them despite their lack of notoriety compared to some of the older SoCal craft breweries. I came in and immediately checked the paper menus, finding to my delight that they'll let you build your own flight of beers, with any four of their brews for $12 (including the good stuff). I ordered a few flights, and while I won't go into detail about everything, lest this review turn into a novella, I enjoyed most if not all of the beers and found that almost none contained off-flavors, aside from maybe the pale ale. I do want to mention that none of what I had was actually an IPA! They only have a couple on draft currently, and I didn't quite make it down the menu that far. A lot of lagers and various less-hoppy fare are available compared to the ubiquitous. I do like IPAs, but I give Bearded Tang a lot of credit for their variety. The one beer which I will describe was my last memory of the night (no, I didn't drink _that_ much), and it was the medal-winner. Vlad the Impaler is this beer, and they specifically won the category of Coffee Stout or Porter. There's so much rich coffee flavor in this thing, and even though it felt a tad sweet to start, I grew more accustomed (or maybe less full from dinner) as I worked through the beer. Sometimes I don't really vibe with acclaimed beers, but this one was magical and you've gotta try it if you're a fan of coffee. They may not be Bottle Logic (although they also have a hexagonal logo) or another renowned brewery, but you should definitely stop by Bearded Tang Brewing if you're in the immediate area and want craft beer. Order a flight if you're into that kind of thing. You can sit at the bar or take the beer around Rodeo 39.
Bearded Tang Brewing is a gem in Rodeo 39! We got a flight so we could try different beers. The bartender/service was nice and asked us what we liked and recommended some things. Each one we had was great! We even ended up getting some crowlers to go. When you buy something, they also allow you to play a game of cornhole, which we took full advantage of while we drank outside.
The service was good. They're seating everywhere where you can have a beer and eat your food there from the other vendors. They only accept card though no cash. The menu shows which beers are "award winning" so it's good to know to try out different ones
Huge fan of beer. Favs = the Bruery & Monkish. Hate to drop names, but those places will always be my favs in CA. Been here several times, the beers when they first opened were meh, but since grand opening their beers are growing on me. I usually get their IPAs or sours. Friendly staff. Reasonable prices. I always return back lol ;D
Located in rodeo 39, I feel that bearded tang brewery is one of the anchors of the food court. It's not a bad option for ice cold draft beers after work. Also nice that it's surrounded by solid food options to pair with your drink. Came during a weeknight after work and there was plenty of seating. Unfortunately for rodeo 39, it isn't as busy as it was when it first opened. But that works in your favor if you need a place to hang out with a group! read more

This brewery always delivers! Visited on a Thursday afternoon, about 3pm, wifey and I had the place to ourselves almost. We usually come later in the night, so arriving earlier was a change of pace and vibe. But I thoroughly enjoyed my German Pilsner, along with a smashburger from another venue in Rodeo 39. Love the variety, and Bearded Tang has the coolest bartenders, always attentive and helpful. I didn't get the name of the woman who helped me today, but she was super chill. Can't wait to visit again read more

The perfect location for a brew! Bearded Tang Brewing is located at Rodeo 39 in Stanton. This indoor food hall features a number of restaurants, shops, a cocktail bar and this quaint brewery. Each of the restaurants specialize in a specific cuisine, but also happen to be brew-less. Enter Bearded Tang. I ordered the Ausflippin, a German Pilsner.. which also happens to be the staff favorite! This beer is incredibly light (5.2%) with the perfect amount of hops. I stopped by Hiro Nori and paired it with a pork belly rice bowl. A great combo. The best part? Their beers are $5! Making Bearded Tang a fantastic Friday night hang out! read more

Where was Rodeo 39 when I lived in the condos behind it? Instead we just had abandoned buildings as a hobo tent city. After ordering some donuts from Dot & Dough I wondered around Rodeo 39 seeing what's in there. I saw Bearded Tang and remembered seeing yelp friend reviews. First off, I know you can't judge a beer by its label but I really love their cartoony labels. Since I couldn't stay I got a few 4-packs. It's a bit pricey but the cans are 16 ounces. Apparently they rotate the offerings so just know beers you see on yelp photos may or may not be available. I asked the friendly bartender guy what he recommended and I took his suggestion. First one I tried is the "Peach Blvd" which is a white ale with peaches. Very refreshing beer perfect for summer. Not too sweet with just enough peach to be enjoyable and not over powering like some fruit beers. I really enjoyed it. Next I got their "Swing Panel" which is an experimental IPA. I should have asked more about this. I don't know if the "experimental" part means this flavor changes as the mood strikes and Swing Panel can morph into other things. This time around it was a tangerine infused. I loved it. My favorite of the two. The tangerine isn't as obvious as the peach but blends perfect with the hops. Excellent beer! Can't wait to try more. They have a huge counter to drink there with tons of beers on tap. Not sure the rules or how it works. I read some reviews say you need to have food from other places to drink there but you'd have to ask. read more

I visited Rodeo 39 Public Market a few weeks ago and wanted to try Bearded Tang Brewing, but they were only selling to-go beers and you weren't allowed to enjoy your brews on premise. Fortunately, I went back this past weekend and they were serving brews on tap for you to enjoy there if you purchase food from any of the other food vendors and provide them with a proof of receipt. We ordered the Bier'd and Riighteous. Bier'd is a lager - very easy to drink, light, and tasty on a warm day. Riighteous is their double IPA - very smooth and easy to drink for a dipa. Their service was friendly, fast, and they were following COVID protocols. The employees were all wearing masks, on tap beer was served in a plastic cup, and they only accept credit card. Bearded Tang is located along the back wall of Rodeo 39 and there is plenty of outdoor seating for you to enjoy your brews and food! read more

YOOO they have good drinks yet their customer service is like beyond Karen Gaslighters and entitled workers for real. Do they think they're White House security or what ESP Alex who thinks it's an rpg So basically today I ordered a drink and dude asked for my id, I said I didn't have it on me yet my people are here. And they said okay, we can't sell it to you tho bc you don't have a legal government ID. (Despite them selling it to me without my I'd prior. And I said "what if I say it's for my mom tho" insinuating that if she purchased it FOR ME. ( I literally like winked) And they're like ok, u can't drink it on our premises tho and girl points around the bar And I'm like k that's lit Like I'm not gonna sit at this bar anyways Then we purchase it and I'm carrying it, and she's like you can't carry it And we're like uhh ok? Then we carry it to a diff table and they start FOLLOWING Us bro And he makes a few rounds across us then comes up to us and says u can't drink that btw and I'm like bro ????? Did I drink it??? And what if I do?? What are you gonna do and y u following us And he says oh bc the drink is in front of u And I'm like bro it's in between us???? And secondly mind ur own business And he starts talking about how it's illegal in the state of California and he has the right to "take the drink" like ok, swiper the fox First of all it's not illegal for even minors to consume alcohol, only be in possession of in CA and second of all the audacity of this guy be for real. Oh and he also wanted to call me out for "lying" and misquoted me saying "you said you were purchasing it for ur mom and you literally said my mom will drink it" bro the scammer is you I ain't ever said that Also this is a diff review from like a year ago don't like how the lady asked me for another ID to purchase two beers. She said one ID per beer, yet I don't have two drivers license? I just wanted to buy another one for my mom man. She's like sitting all the way at the other restaurant what type of customer service It isn't even logical if the policy is in place to prevent people from buying for minors because you could buy unlimited beers if it's in the Togo can. This just isn't logical. Also the beer was basically room temperature. I like the glass though. read more

Good variety of beer in the food hall! It's located inside of Rodeo 39 Public Market. Good place to also catch the game. Definitely loud here but is expected. There was a cool DJ posted behind the bar on this Friday night. Service was always prompt. You can grab food from one of the other vendors and chill on a beer and watch the game. Which is exactly what we did. read more
Came around the time of their soft opening. You need to show a receipt of your food purchase from rodeo 39 in order to get any drinks. It's super awesome that they open Stanton's first brewery! There's tons of indoor and outdoor seating around. All of the workers are super attentive and they brought our drink out to us and check in if we wanted to order more. Definitely looking forward to coming back and trying more of their drinks! read more

Hell yes! A solid brewery is the backbone of any food hall and bearded tang definitely delivers on that. I'm not too sure what the name is, but who cares because they make some really great brews. I got a blue rasberry slush and a Carlos danger Mexican lager, that lager was so good I started sucking down half the glass before I was able to take a photo. Had to grab myself and say hold up, remember to take care of business haha. But in all honesty this place freaking rocks, the staff will explain just about anything you wanna know about the brews, you can see staff in the back working on the next batches and it's just a sight to behold. They also have mixed drinks if you're looking for that too. All around great spot, wish they'd send me a tshirt tho ;) read more
