Cracked upholstery with chunks missing, really old life jackets under the seats, missing speedometer (we estimated it's maximum speed to be about 10 mph), motor making clunking noises every once in a while. An uncovered hole in the boat had a bunch of trash inside it. We wanted to fish but the boat had no white flag so we couldn't. We had a "nice" two hours on the lake because we refused to let the problems ruin our day. When we returned the boat we mentioned our issues. He couldn't have cared less. Barely looked up from his phone. If you rent from them, speak up for yourself before they stick you with this vessel! Not only are they the most affordable option, they offer pet friendly pontoons. Our favorite to reserve is their standard 6 person pontoon boat. For a one hour rental, it is $95 plus $20 for fuel. One hour on the lake will go quickly though, so I definitely recommend renting for a 2 hour minimum- especially if you wish to do some fishing. A one hour rental I'd recommend perhaps for a quick sightseeing drive lunch around the lake (food and drink is permitted onboard). Either way, Holloway's Marina is our recommended go-to for a fun, affordable, pontoon boat rental on the beautiful Big Bear Lake.

Im not quite sure but I do believe they have a fee for parking. I could be wrong. It's the lake so there's little sandy spot where people lay out and fish. Not a wide stretch but pockets here and there. The boat launch area is quite big so it roomy which obviously it's the point. We didn't see any boats being launch but a lot of people getting in and off of kayaks from it. Most people were out having picnics, there's benches situated here and there looking out to the water. The view was beautiful with the mountains and ski slopes in the background. As well as all the lake front properties. Tons of people out and about enjoying the water in jet ski , kayak, some sailing and boat tours. Like mentioned, pockets of beaches here and there with people laying out and fishing. It was a bit windy but still nice out enjoying the view. It's a beautiful place for boating, beaching, fishing and picnics. If it's not busy, you'll get lucky with a spot in the sand.
