I called and asked if they could be finished early (by a day) or if they would at least be finished on the day promised. The tailor told me none of the pants had been worked on yet and she was not positive the pants would be finished on the day promised. I then called the morning of the day promised and ended up leaving a message on their vm. No call was returned. I went in after I returned from my trip and picked up my pants, which still had not been touched. I guess I will be sewing the pockets myself and will find another tailor as well. This is NOT a reliable shop and the lady had no response other then "sorry" on as to why the pants were not worked on.

Wonderful Service, Great Quality, Incredibly Fast!…read more I have an ultralight Sleeping Quilt with clip system (no zipper), but found myself wanting a zipper put on for heat-retention. I contacted Rugged Repair for an initial quote by phone (I live back East), then sent in pictures and an email of what i was looking for (a zipper installed the length of the bag). The team was super helpful talking me through options and answering my numerous emails promptly. I just received my quilt back in the mail today, and I am beyond impressed. Great craftsmanship, can't even tell the zipper was added after-market. Highly recommend these folks!

I signed…read moreup with PGC to do a small project to replace a window with a sliding door, being VERY clear with them that my priority was getting it in quickly, and that I would have other projects that would follow. They said there was a 3 week lead time on the door and they would fit my project in between larger projects after that. 2 weeks later, I got a followup indicating that they hadn't ordered the door with a lousy excuse about the "door guy" being on vacation. I asked for a commitment on timing on the installation to proceed, and they said 1st week of September. I said fine, waited a week, didn't hear anything, asked for a followup, and they responded with another slip in the schedule, changing the install time to 2 weeks - 7X as long as the 2 days I was quoted. I responded, copying Ed on my e-mail to let him know that I was totally unsatisfied with the level of communication and commitment to the expectations they had set with me. That was two weeks ago, and I haven't heard back from either Ed or Elizabeth who is the project coordinator to follow up on ANY aspect of the project.
