The person he hired even advised me that Rigo supplied very cheap paint for the project. Sure enough, only a few months later, my gate started rusting. I reached out to Rigo about six months after the project was completed, and he told me I would need to have it painted again -- meaning he wanted to charge me a second time. This was not a cheap job, and the quality of work was nowhere near acceptable. The paint was poor quality, overspray got on the sidewalk and even on my cars, and overall the project was not completed to proper standards. Please save yourself the headache and look elsewhere

I am hoping they offer a lot of services as I intend on using them for all my projects going forward. They came in at a great price, and did a great fast job. Along with a new light fixture, new base boards, as well as fixed the damaged dry wall/plaster that was damaged from moisture. My only 2 complaints is 1.communication could be better and more efficient. 2. Inform the customer of everything needed and required by the customer for the job. Other than that. I can definitely recommend them to complete your project well and on time.

FOOTHILL PAINTERS…read more This is a review for: Foothill Painting Company, Inc 2134 Floyd St. Burbank, CA 91504 (818) 748-3227 Mediocre, mediocre, mediocre. I hired FOOTHILL PAINTING to avoid dealing with individual painters and ended up supervising the painter, the supervisor and fighting with the owner of the company. The two painters took less than two hours of prepping. At the end of the first day, I called the supervisor and asked him not to send this guy's again. They refuse to remove the doors for painting, claiming that it could be too difficult to put them back, painted over a rotten window frame and over the door seal. See pictures 1 to 6. The supervisor asked them to sand and repaint which they did, but still, it just looks cheap. To add grout on my old brick wall, they carelessly spread the grout all over the wall and covered my bricks with cement. Then knocked on my door and asked for the last payment. No one came to inspect the job before asking for money, when I saw my front wall covered with cement (picture attached) and cement all around I called the supervisor, sent him pictures and his response was "would you like us to come and clean it?" Was he expecting me to clean it? See pictures 7 to 9. I sent an email to Brian (the owner or perhaps the supervisor of the supervisors) refusing to pay until they fix my bricks. Someone came 6 days later to remove the cement, first with a chisel and a hammer and then with an electric sander but there is so much cement on my wall that it is beyond repair. I tried to negotiate a discount, but Brian decided that my bricks were just fine, that I was making excuses to avoid paying and threatened to put a lean on my house if I did not pay. He never came to check if the cement had been removed or at least to assess the damage. In picture 10, if you look closer, some of the bricks broke during the "cleaning" and most of them are just covered with cement. I managed to deduct 500.00 for not painting the front door because it is clear that they lack the capacity to paint a front door which they were planning to paint with a brush. It's been two months and the paint in one door is already falling. See picture 11. Anyway, unless you want to spend your time supervising the "supervisors" and pay for a mediocre job, get someone else. These guys don't even understand the basics of customer service.

This company use to be located on Commerce in Tujunga and has since moved to the city of Burbank. The paint they used at my place was from Dunn-Edwards Paint Company, very high quality of paint. Only the outside is just now showing some wear. This paint company had guaranteed the paint job to last ten years and it had lasted much longer. I would without a doubt recommend this company to others.

My experience with Ron was expensive and a headache. I think it was Ron's team that sucked, not…read morenecessarily him, but they were a team nonetheless. The project was extremely delayed, disorganized, and there were many change orders on their end that they had me do (lesson learned never will I pay for a change order when it's their mistake). This is in addition to the job site looking extremely messy (I didn't know better at that time; I've seen other ADU sites that are clean!) They built an ADU for me that had so many issues when it was done, some major like plumbing and the wall separating. In the final walk through, they had me do it by myself, and I found many many items that needed to get fixed and I had to push them to fix it -- this included a hole in the wall on my neighbor's side (they thought they could hide it). Not sure why THEY didn't do a quality check before I did. They fixed the issues I pointed out after me really getting mad. Like MAD. If you see your job site looking messy, hold the project. If they tell you that you need to pay more because of some item they "missed" tell them F off. There are other contractors willing to take the job. So Ron responded below stating I'm not a real customer. Ok, Ron. And your checklist... I can provide pictures of your work. You sure you want to report me to Yelp? Next time I come back for a new review, all photos will be released. Pick your battles. Take a hit.

We asked Dave to paint every room in a 2 bedroom, 1-1/2 bathroom condo. We chose different colors for each room. In some cases the colors would meet at the intersection between rooms. What stood out was Dave's hand brushing technique. Many painters would use masking tape, but Dave has a steady hand and the paint met perfectly. That shows craftsmanship. We also wanted help to close up a wall opening between rooms and replace the stairway railing. Dave did a nice job floating the drywall patch, and the new railing looks great. Dave's Painting is a one man show, which means you'll need to allow more time in your schedule for larger jobs. Their price wasn't the lowest of the bids, but I knew after listening to their rigorous preparation process and that the job would take 8 days I knew it would be a quality job, and it truly is! This is a family run business and both of the brothers and nephew take enormous pride in their workmanship. They not only sanded and chipped away a boatload of peeling & cracking paint, but they primed my entire house! Any cheap bid you get means the competitors will just spot prime, which is unacceptable in my book. No one wants to have to repaint my their house every 5 years, and a half-hearted job will do just that. But Saris guarantees their job, and even will come back every few years for touch up work if necessary. They really care about making the paint job perfect and making the customer happy. They were easy-going when we went back and forth about the color of the trim, and we even did 3 paint tests. They were cool, and not flustered. They wanted it to be perfect and that made making the decision a bit easier. What I also loved about the Saris brothers was their daily clean up of my property. I have two small children who are constantly looking for things to put in their mouths. The Saris guys made sure all the paint chips and mess was cleaned up daily. (I watched my neighbor's painting contractor leave millions of paint chips all over their grass, backyard and roof! It looks horrible even now!) I'll definitely be calling the Saris guys again on future jobs. I'm amazed I'm their first reviewer, especially since they've been in the business for 25 years! Thank you again!
