We stayed in a Yurt. It was clean, spacious and comfortable for our family of 5. The Yurt had a nice kitchenette and bathroom with shower. Family is what the Narrows is all about. Fridays have a nice community fire by the lakeside for s'mores and socializing with other guest. Every Saturday night is movie night by the lakes edge. The Narrows truly wants that family chill vibe at the resort and does a great job of creating it. This is not the place to come for drunken loud partying. I know other guests and I really appreciate the wholesomeness of the entire resort and the experience it provides our families. I watched my young daughter catch her 1st fish ever, from the dock. She talked about her newfound love for fishing and swimming with the other kids, for the entire drive home. My older kids paddle boarded across the lake. The kids loved the pontoon boat ride around the entire lake, with rope plenty of swings dotting the lake. The afternoon ice cream from the on-site store for each of the kids in the afternoon were a daily highlight. The Narrows is doing everything right to make it all about families and we will definitely be coming back annually.

Very tight space to get a 34ft trailer and a long bed truck to park thru. There were canoes on the side free to use for guests. Also life jackets for adult and kids. Kids spent the morning fishing behind our trailer by the fire pits. Picnic tables also for every spot. A cute little hang out area near the canoe. Games in the room by the office and also bathroom/showers available. There wasn't much space for kids to ride there bikes. Was a great stay still.

We loved to go into the woods and forage for the local coastal mushrooms (think King Boletes and chanterelles). The stars are also incredibly beautiful and visible at night. Plus it's dog friendly! This was the absolute cutest idea I have done in a long while, although the nights were absolutely freezing during November which I do not recommend, if you can't withstand the cold. It was still enjoyable though. I recommend doing this during the lovely summer, I am sure it's amazing. They have clean bathrooms to shower. Communal area for coffee and breakfast with small snacks. They had this absolutely amazing apple bread I had to call them for the recipe, it was soooo good. It was a nice walk to get coffee, coffee was decent as well, no complaints. Raccoons will be the biggest problem, they do warn you prior and say to hide all dog food and human food in the large heavy chest that is located outside your tent. I thought I had put everything inside the chest and I was laying down and I heard something outside, so I get up and my neighbor said the raccoon had taken something from my bag, I finally realized the next day it was my dogs combs ugh. I was sad to say the least so don't make the same mistake as I did, make sure to put all things in that chest lol. I am assuming they thought it was food. The staff were very friendly upon check in, and when I called back to for the apple bread recipe. I forgot to mention that I wish they would invest in way better heated blankets for the colder months especially if we can't bring our own. The ones that were included and on the bed were just not heating up enough for the 40 degree temps. Cute little spot for a getaway!

Still nothing. This is especially concerning for a glamping property where guests are expected to stay in a remote or wilderness setting. If no one can respond to a basic cancellation request, how can guests feel confident that support would be available in an emergency or even for a routine need during the stay? The lack of communication is unacceptable and has made me feel unsafe bringing my family there. At this point, I will need to pursue cancellation through another route since I have been unable to get any assistance directly.

I cannot comment on how beautiful this lake would be when full, I can't wait to come back in a few years after this drought and see this place in its glory! We met a couple of very friendly geese and an old fisherman who lived near here and shared fishing stories as well as facts about the lake and some of the rocks I was finding... Jaden, who brought my family firewood, was an amazing young man. He was strong with the firewood and drove his golf cart with such purpose - it was honestly inspiring. He was very smart and he humbly accepted a tip from my father. Not only did he deliver the firewood the way he did, he assisted us with fire starter and shared all of his tips and tricks. our fire could've lasted all night! I am not sure if he is a boy scout, but he should be! Believe it or not, Jaden has a twin brother who also works at River Bend, Parker. Not only are they twins, but they are both outstanding young men. Parker who charmed my family, helped my family in the store showing us all of the cute, hip merch and hooked me up with a cute pink hoodie! He elevated the experience in the store from the second we walked in by greeting us with a warm smile. Parker set up my family with a delicious dinner at the Pub and even delivered our food when it was ready! These two boys made my family's experience here at River Bend fabulous and they are amazing young men. Who ever raised these boys did a great job, so big kuddos to you! My husband had a flat tire and they had an air pump that they were more than happy to let us use. Aly (I hope I spelled that right!) at the front desk gave us multiple recommendations for places to launch a float for different age groups that would all come back to the private beach on the campgrounds! The kids in our group ranging from 4 to 17 all loved the arcade on site and the store was amazing! Their merch is also beautiful! I got a fishing hat with a patch, a gorgeous hoodie and a couple post cards. We cannot wait to stay here again (:
