Worst experience: we were signing the contract for thousands of dollars and ready to embark on a multi year time commitment but there was a $500 charge for something called "retainer assurance " which means nothing, so when I asked what that was the receptionist could not explain it and just kept telling my husband and I that it's optional and she can take it off if we don't want it. As we were talking someone else (who didn't introduce themselves) asked us to come back and rushed us off so we still didn't have an explanation. They sat my son down with a technician (also no introduction) and forcefully put a large instrument in his mouth without explanation causing my tough 14 year old to wince and flinch in pain. The technician did not care to ask about the pain she inflicted and told him not to move. At this point my husband and I wanted to talk to the orthodontist and as I was talking about the experience he literally kept cutting me off saying "yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah" (he did not introduce himself either) and when I said "I feel like you're interrupting me" he said, without, apology "I'm Greek". Ummm...huh?Then he said "we're 18 minutes in and we have a lot of expensive tools out here and have already done pictures & scans so we need continue or we won't be able to put on his braces." No common courtesy, poor communication, rude/defensivene orthodontist with a factory style impersonal approach. You are not a human here you are a dollar sign. read more
