I asked to see the old part for the second one, but he wouldn't let me see it and put it in his pocket. Later, when we were discussing the bill, he propositioned my wife - offering to trade a "date" for the price of the bill. She was disgusted and called for me immediately. I finished dealing with him only to discover that his price was over twice what he originally quoted. He is a creep and I will never call him again.

I say no more than $300- this jokester has the audacity to call me 5 hours later stating the "Monetary threshold" I gave him wasn't enough to cover his FULL diagnostic and he had to "stop" because he would be going over the amount. When I asked him what did he find he said "well.. there are a number of things we did- but I'm not really sure what it is and I'll write it out for you. You know you don't have to use me, but you're welcome to use my notes for any other contractor. But I hope you know, any job you're looking to get done will be expensive so the monetary cap you gave me won't go far. But I've exhausted your hard stop" he also wanted to let me know I didn't have warranty on my unit which will be costly to me even though the unit is only 3 years old. I check in with my tenant and she said all he did was try to talk to her and didn't really do much but look around and then he tried to ask her out!! Extremely unprofessional! We found a different contractor (Joel with Elgin Home Maintenance) he was able to diagnosis within 30 mins. I didn't think I had warranty on my unit and he told me even though we didn't register the unit- there's still a 5 year warranty on these units. He was able to order the part and get us in the books QUICK!! Back to Eddie- my tenant posted about his scam and how he's trying to bamboozle us and he dropped off a letter threatening her with a lawyer because we posted a review about him trying to scam and nickel and dime us for NOTHING!! Do NOT USE HIM, DO NOT CALL him, he will probably invoice you just to take your call!! IN SANE!!!
