Coffee shop? More like a building where you happen to be able to buy a cup of coffee and a t-shirt. No seats, no restroom, no wifi. More atmosphere can be found in a local gas station. But at least their to-go cups are the same as they use at a gas station. I'm not sure what Beanz is trying to accomplish but the lack of character is disappointing. The coffee is fine, the gentleman who must be the owner is very friendly. The place is very clean. I guess I just want to feel more cozy and inspired when I enter a small town coffee shop. read more

So happy we stumbled upon this independent coffee shop. Iced coffee was amazing. Ice cubes, not mass made, were homemade and frozen coffee! No watered down coffee 30 minutes later! Many flavors to choose from and sweet snacks. Cute decor-modern and clean. Will visit again. read more

Not even kidding when I say this is the best coffee in about a 50 mile radius of Georgetown! I typically get a caramel iced coffee and a muffin. Even their ice is made out of coffee! Revolutionary idea, Beanz. Keep it up. read more

Do yourself a favor and ignore Aimee's review as she's only jealous because her friends own the other coffee shop in town. Her review is totally bias and uncalled for. Beanz doesn't have gas station pastries but muffins from Pawley's Island Bakery. Beanz brews 100% Kona Coffee and at prices lower than most places. Beanz even uses coffee cubes in their iced coffees which is a must try. Try Beanz and decide for yourself :) read more

The best place for coffee in Georgetown! Lots of flavor variety or straight "black"- Starbucks like without the price. Owner is a character- I mean that in the best way- and it is a family owned business . Only drawback is the atmosphere-or lack of such. But for great coffee you won't be disappointed read more

If you want a delicious cup of coffee, and great service, Beanz Coffee is your place! He uses Kona coffee! He also puts coffee ice cubes in the ice coffee, to keep it from watering down (smart) and his cups keeps the hot coffee extra hot! The Owner makes every customer feel welcome and he will make sure you are satisfied before leaving! I have heard so much about this little coffee shop, so I decided to try it. I will support his local business from here on out. I am a nurse and it means a lot when the public steps up and brings us what we needs the most. During this pandemic he has provided coffee for nurses at the local hospital, and this isn't the first time he has stepped up. There have been times during storms, floods and other situations that he has provided for first responders. Not my kind of place, it would seem. I stopped by Beanz, looking for some espresso and a good, comfortable place to drink it; unfortunately, it didn't quite work out. First, there was no inside seating (or did I just miss it somehow?), only some picnic benches in the yard, which, besides being out in the summer heat and humidity, lacked umbrellas. Naturally, it began raining soon after I sat out. Combine that with an Americano that struck me as somewhat weak and tasteless, and, sad to say, my visit to Beanz wasn't all too successful. On the plus side, the cashier was friendly and fast; and, in the scheme of things, I can think of far worse things than some bland coffee and a rained-out picnic. In any case, I'm grateful for this business and my experience there. I would just suggest some umbrellas for the tables : ) read more

This shop has a pretty limited selection on the menu, no cappuccino for example. Coffee is equivalent to a Keurig pod. But it's not terrible. If you need some coffee on the way to work it's adequate. If you're a "coffee person" I'd suggest to look elsewhere. Other issues are no seating and no restroom read more

This is one of the greatest places on the way to Charleston, he has true Kona coffee which is absolutely amazing and something to look forward to. What are the nicest guys and places to go to down south who knows their coffee! He's even willing to sell you Kona beans, which are very tough to find down south and always consistent and amazing. Always so good we wish they were open later hours so we could stop on the way home from Charleston as well! read more

The owner is very rude and disrespectful. I have been following both this coffee shop and another local one on Facebook and he is constantly posting snide remarks downing local businesses (specifically the other coffee shop) discretely. Along with that, his wishes are also very bipolar, one day he disses parking on front street and offering anything other than coffees, to now he is potentially opening a store there as well as is expanding to offer "cheaper lunch alternatives". He constantly complains that he is the one being attacked, whenever he was the one that started "competition" in the first place. As for their actual drinks, they are very disappointing. They seem to not have true coffee. However if you are just wanting something cheap, expect the quality to be equal. No actual espresso drinks, though they have the machine to actually make them, but don't. Overall, the customer service and coffee quality are disappointing. would not recommend. read more
