All the forms to completed a new patient registration were emailed to me before my visit. Upon arrival they took my temperature and were practicing all safety precautions. Doctor Douglas was very knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything for my check up. She was one of the most down to earth dentist I have experienced in 40 years and had the ability to talk with you in simple terms. I had my teeth cleaned by Kristi who took her time to thoroughly clean my teeth and was gentle yet did a great job. She was safe and I credit her with having to wear all her protege at and still do a great job My X-rays went smooth and were completed while sitting in the dental chair. (This was a first for me). The young lady who did the X-rays was great. Tina is in the front office and her ability to explain how the insurance pays out was new to me. Normally I dread dealing with insurance companies but she was able to handle everything while I was being seen. Too often it's the little things like Tina handling of the insurance that gets taken for granted. Overall this dentist office is fantastic. I appreciate they treat patients like a small town office in lieu of corporate HMO's. I am happy that I found this place and highly recommend them.

Wow. Staff was super friendly and helpful. The waiting room was clean, warm and relaxing. The wait time was acceptable. 15 min. Hygienist was very friendly. Took some x-rays and then started with the cleaning. My hygienist was super thorough with the cleaning. I was told I have great teeth and everything looked good. Yeah, I hate to brag but...I rarely have problems with my teeth. Thanks to my mom and her good teeth genes. I still like to get my teeth cleaned at least once a year. Anyway, dentist was very kind. Examined my teeth and said all was good. My daughter has to go back again however due to a small cavity. Looks like I finally found a dentist that I can rely on.

I have been going to Dr. Calderon for more than a year now. I have been very pleased with the…read moreentire experience. Dr. Calderon herself is thorough and thoughtful. When she found cavities in my mouth, she showed me using a camera so I could see them for myself, and she discussed my treatment options. Being in a dentist's chair can be intimidating but I never felt pressured, just well informed to make my decision. Just as importantly, she took the time to discuss how I can prevent having more cavities in the future by altering my diet and habits. (And I should note, she does not do amalgam fillings - the kind with mercury.) I had one particularly hard filling where my nerve was in a non-standard spot. Since she can't see where the nerve is, she tried, patiently and carefully, to numb it and we waited in-between each shot to see if it took effect. This took a lot of extra time, but even though it meant she and her assistant had to stay after closing time to finish my filling, I never felt they were rushing me. The dental hygienists are also nice and are gentle when they clean your teeth. During a cleaning, they'll often show you a video about how to brush and floss. I thought it was silly at first, but I realized I haven't been brushing my gums properly and that information improved my technique. Unlike a lot of dentists, no one there has tried to "up-sell" me teeth whitening, botox, etc. I think her office does sell some teeth whitening services, but the only indication is a small sign in the waiting room. Both the waiting room and the clinic area are very clean and pleasant, and my appointments have always been handled on time. The billing has always been very clear and prices are quoted before hand (although I don't have insurance, so that makes it much more straightforward.)

My visit consisted of a deep cleaning, fillings, whitening, and Invisalign fitting. You will find every member of the Ranieu Family Dental team smiling at all times. They are all friendly and very knowledgable, always educating me about how to maintain healthy oral hygiene. We brought our 2.5-year-old son to this office after calling ahead to discuss concerns about plaque…read morebuildup and a yellowish discoloration developing on his teeth. Since we do not have dental insurance, I specifically asked what services would be provided and was told the $305 out-of-pocket fee would include an examination, cleaning, and fluoride treatment, with the appointment lasting about an hour. Before booking, I made a point to confirm that a cleaning would be performed because other dental offices had told me they would not do cleanings on children his age. I was explicitly assured that they would. Unfortunately, that is not what happened. The entire appointment lasted only about 20 minutes. Instead of the cleaning we were promised, the dentist simply brushed my son's teeth and told us to brush multiple times a day, then explained that the yellow discoloration was normal. No actual dental cleaning was performed, and the fluoride treatment was not provided at all. When I questioned the charges and requested a refund for the cleaning and fluoride, I was told they would not refund the cleaning because the dentist had brushed his teeth and provided advice. They charged $110 for what amounted to a brief tooth-brushing and instructions that any parent already knows. That is not the "cleaning" that was described when I scheduled the appointment. They eventually said they would refund the fluoride charge because it was never performed, but only after I spent time on the phone, was hung up on, and had to call back to resolve the issue. The biggest issue is the lack of transparency. Had they accurately explained what services would and would not be provided for a child his age, I could have made an informed decision before spending hundreds of dollars. Instead, the communication was misleading, the charges were excessive for the services received, and the handling of the refund was unnecessarily difficult. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this office. If you're looking, I would suggest considering Willamette Dental instead.

I have numerous emails to Kristee trying to get help, but she basically ignores my emails and calls. I ordered a retainer over 6 months ago and can't get in touch with them to get it! Not to mention, I only got aligners to open up a space for an implant and that was not achieved. They only shifted my alignment now I'm dealing with TMJ pain and a crooked smile which I never had before ! I reached out to BBB and Snapcorrect never responded so my next step is to just file a lawsuit on them. Now, I'm forced to pay again and get help from Invisalign. Snapcorrect customer service had us put an old one back in and shipped a new one out to us. He is down to just wearing the Snapcorrect retainers at night.
