If it was one set... we were going to an amusement park from 7 to 11. If it was more that 1, we were going to the different peaks around Disneyland, going out of the country ( the 4 of us are still world travelers), we were going to spend time with my family and have fun with my cousins a whole week and my health conscious Mom would pretend to not see the junk we ate, or my Dad read up on a State with a lot of history, museums, and wonderful restaurants ( my fellow foodie!) and decided to take us to that state. Now TJ Maxx was the last stop on the route. That was for accessories and moreover it was for my Mom to pick up cute pieces for my Dad and herself. She spent most of her budget on us and she was such a fashionista on getting her and my Dad great outfits on sale. TJ Maxxx has a whole lot know!!! Im using them to redecorate my house. I had purchased 2 items and paid a portion by store credit, and the rest by credit card (roughly 15% of the total by store credit and 85% by credit card). My return was about half the cost of what I paid, which was fully covered by the credit card portion. Since the item I wanted to return was fully covered by the amount I paid on my credit card, the entire refund should have gone back to my card, per standard policy and logic. However, the Assistant Manager Megan A refused to process the refund correctly, insisting on wanting to issue a new store credit for what I had originally used while only putting the remainder on my card. Her reasoning was because it was store policy. She then refused to process my refund entirely after our argument. I then went to the TJ Maxx on Memorial Dr and had completely no issues with the return, with the full amount of the item entirely on my credit card. I didn't even have to ask to do this as it was automatic. Worse than Megan A.'s obviously incorrect 'policy' was the treatment. Her tone and demeanor made me feel publicly scrutinized and humiliated while standing at the busy cashier, as if I was trying to cheat the system. I was left feeling deeply embarrassed and frustrated in front of other shoppers. This is a failure on two counts: 1. Policy Failure: The manager lacked basic understanding of how split-tender returns work when the return value is less than the credit card portion. 2. Service Failure: Treating a long-time customer with such unprofessionalism and public derision is inexcusable.

I was so pleased to see it was open, I knew it was set to open this summer. I love the bright interior. The store is well laid out with very friendly and helpful staff. They carry misses and petite sizes in the store but if you want women's sizes (1X - 4X), they can order it for you and you get free shipping. Today when I went in, I was helped by the store manager, Kismari. She is very knowledgeable and knows her products. She acted as my personal shopper as we wandered around the store picking out items. She really listened to what I wanted and was able to pick items that suit my tastes. I've shopped online with J Jill for many years and know the fabrics and love the clothes, but to have that extra touch of having someone walk the store with me was great. Kismari sat down and checked on size and color for all my items that needed to be ordered since women's sizes are all ordered and then delivered to your house. She also explained all the promotions to me so I could save as much as possible. She took the time to find out that I'm a teacher which means discount! Teachers receive an extra 15% off of all regularly priced items. She also told me about opening a credit card with J Jill. I really really didn't want to open a credit card, but as a frequent J Jill shopper, the perks just couldn't be ignored! I'm so excited about all my items coming in the mail. I'm also excited that I can return anything that doesn't work for me to the store. The store is so easy to get to. I parked within 10 feet of the entrance and walked right in. I love that it is located in the outdoor mall area because I don't have to go into the actual mall. If you love comfortable casual women's clothing, this is a great place to shop and say hello to Kismari for me!

I was informed that they do not carry tall length in store or other. The sales lady also informed me that sizing is generous for this brand and the size small may be a little roomy on me as well as short. I appreciated her giving me this truthful information rather than just trying to make a sale. The clothing I looked at was quality clothing and pricing was reasonable. The kind attitude and helpfulness of the sales lady as well as the store itself deserve an A-OK. I'd be willing to come back again and browse. It's possible they could start stocking tall lengths and adjust sizing in the future and I could find something.

Everything else requires price conversion. There are items that you may find have a better value at the Dollar Tree. It's pretty organized, but the stock may be unpredictable. I use to get the charcoal dehumidifiers but they no longer stock it. I really like their laundry bags and kitchen bowls, plates, and saucers, which they still carry. The laundry bags do vary in quality, they use to manufacture them at a better quality. I also love their silicone molds for baking ranging from Minnie Mouse, Pooh, etc. They are opened for decent hours. I do not like their self check out because it's very sensitive. You can easily and accidentally scan an item twice. The service is great, the associates always greet you upon arrival and they're pretty knowledgeable about their stock. They also have a cute little Daiso jingle, it's hilarious!

She says they're not too well organized. They are pretty good in terms of the discounts and all kinds of sexy delights to be found amongst the masses of disorganization. Last time we came here she was here about 30 minutes and had good things to say about it for sure. I mostly just walked the aisles checking her out from different angles.
