An average Dollar Tree with average employees, look and feel. Formerly a Family Dollar store - and…read morea brand new one at that - this store was recently rebranded as a Dollar Tree. A very busy Dollar Tree located in Vero Beach on the southwest corner of 27th Avenue and Oslo. Tons of parking, with handicapped directly in the front of the business. Staff are generally friendly and the place has plenty of items for a dollar. I've never visited for "anything special" - it's just usually movie candy on the way to a local theater. More often than not, the place is a mess with stock carts blocking your path. Not "dirty" messy - more of a cluttered look with varying shelves that are empty needing to be restocked. This Dollar Tree does not have gender neutral restrooms. No general complaints - it's a Dollar Store. You know what you're buying when you buy it. Bill Lewis Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Denise and Tenecia are the best!! These two ladies were extremely pleasant from the beginning. I…read morecan in the store just to walk around and I ended up shopping. They were very helpful and personable. They took the time to tell you about the pieces in the store and offered fashion tips. I was really impressed by their level of interaction with the customers. Their customer service was impeccable and it made me feel like I was valued. I think they should be rewarded for excellent customer service. It was more than a shopping experience when I came to this location. If I am in the area I will definitely not think twice about visiting this location. I had a wonderful experience and it was time well spent. I hope their manager is reading this review and recognizes what an asset they are too the company. Denise and Tenecia you rock!!

Great place to shop!! Lot of great deals in this store. Employees are always very friendly, helpful…read moreand polite. The reason i'm only giving it 3 stars is because of the way the employees are treated. I don't know if it's a corporate rule of just the manager's decision in the Fort Pierce store but employees are not allowed to sit down! This is against the law. Have you ever tried to stand for 8 hours behind a counter?? It's torture on your feet and legs. I know, i had to do it as a teller. Since those prehistoric times companies have been sued for this and LOST. It's very unhealthy. Please, Big Lots, allow your cashiers to sit in a chair behind that counter when there are no customers present. Some miserable Karen may complain but everyone else is more understanding than that. https://blogs.cdc.gov/niosh-science-blog/2014/12/09/standing/ You are breaking the law Big Lots by not allowing their cashiers to sit while not ringing up customers. https://www.flsenate.gov/Laws/Statutes/2012/448.05 Please fix this.

They don't employ enough people for obvious reasons. With the exception of the front counter, very rarely are there any customer service people to help you. On any given day of the week, you see scenes like the photos I posted throughout the store. The property manager needs to spend some money and repair this eye sore.
