Enter Native Water Sports! We've seen the store several times but never went it. We decided to go and we are so glad we did. Ted, the owner and operator, graciously helped us get the proper parts and told us he'd call us back to the store once received. About a week later, the parts were here, and Ted and my husband arranged a time at the shop. He not only helped install the rack to ensure that it was safely mounted, but he also showed my husband how he did it and was very hands-on! It took them about one and a half hours - and we were good to go. He showed us how to use the straps, how to take the pads off/on, etc. You can absolutely tell Ted is a well seasoned professional kayak guy - not only that, but he's friendly and just a genuinely nice person. For any kayak needs - car racks, life jackets, kayaks, and pretty much any kayak accessory known to man - Ted is your guy for honest help!

They sell the new emotion kayaks for about $450. They also run a full dive shop. They sell a lot of spear fishing gear. It seems like the most common dive in the area is spear fishing. I did not dive with them, but they told me it's $45 to rent the gear and $65 for the day on the boat (or maybe the other way around). Only this is they DO NOT RENT MASKS OR FINS, so you will have to organize them from somewhere else, or buy them at the shop. The place is run by acouple off the beaten track type dudes. They seemed very nice and everything seemed a little negotiable. I would definitely go back and rent from them again. I left with a good vibe.

This cute boutique is actually quite large and has two rooms selling gently used, name brand clothes and accessories from Tory Burch, Louis Vuitton, Johnny Was, and Lilly Pulitzer to name a few. I especially loved the colorful Lily Pulitzer dresses. They have a sale system where one star is 25 percent off and 2 star is 50 percent off. Since this is consignment expect higher prices than say a thrift store but still discounted off of retail price. Note that all sales are final, no exceptions. I asked if she could find out or call someone and she said no she wouldn't and that it was the owner's day off and that no one would be available to help. I was astounded; why would it be on the sales floor if it wasn't for sale and why on earth with this woman not make an attempt to price it and sell it to me?
