I really wanted to score a 4.5, but gave it the full five because the mini-golf courses were so well-maintained. I have a Gold pass and wanted to take advantage of the free admission to Soak City to celebrate my niece's 2nd birthday. Given that Soak City has a bad reputation for the type of crowd it attracts, I found that the park was relatively clean and had no issues dealing with summer crowds. The park is relatively small, but there are enough water attractions suitable for all ages. As a family with children under 7 year old + a toddler, there were plenty of attractions that were kid friendly. Attractions like wave pool (family fave) and lazy river had a pool depth max of 3 feet. Given the size of the park, there were only two restaurant options available. Food variety is very limited (cheese burger, tenders, fish n chips, or pizza) and you can expect to wait AT LEAST 20 minutes in line. Of course, you have the option of using your season dining plan for free meals which was a perk. Food was honestly not the greatest, but it was enough to satisfy the taste buds of a toddler + 6 year old. There is also stands that sell snacks (popcorn, churros, ice cream) One thing that I noticed Soak City does very well is enforcing safety protocols. As someone with small children in the family, it was very reassuring seeing the lifeguards patrolling inside AND outside the water at all times. By the entrances for attractions, you can find lifeguards enforcing children to wear life jackets who do not meet the height requirements before entering. There were also life jackets made available at every attraction. Despite the limited size of the park, my family still had fun at an affordable pricing.
