My tassel fell apart quickly. I returned the next day and they replaced it with another bead of my choice for no extra charge.

I visited wanting to make a bracelet, and I left with a beautiful, one of a kind piece of jewelry. I was so impressed with my first visit that my sister and I decided to book a private lesson for the next day. Not only was it a lot of fun, but we left with a beautiful pair of earrings that we made ourselves. They have beautiful jewelry already made as well. I fell in love with a dainty gold necklace they had displayed with a small gold initial charm and gemstone. I decided to have one made for myself with my initial and birthstone, which is peridot. They added small peridot near the clasp as an extra touch, which adds even more character to the piece. There are so many beautiful jewels to choose from, and I was was so impressed with all of the employees. They were all knowledgable, and more than willing to assist me with the millions of questions I asked. I can't wait to visit my sister again and go back to Beading Dreams.

After losing my mom, dad, and two nieces in the July 4th floods, I went into Paper Affair looking for stationery to send out thank you cards. Cindy immediately showed me kindness, support, and understanding during such a difficult time. She told me about Arzberger Stationers, who generously offered to donate stationery to family members of flood victims. They sent me beautiful cards that were already personalized with my return address, making it simple for me to reach out and express my gratitude to friends and family who supported me. Their thoughtfulness and generosity were truly meaningful, and the gesture made a heavy task feel much more manageable. Cindy and the entire team at both Paper Affair and Arzberger Stationers went above and beyond, showing care and compassion that I will never forget. I am so grateful for them and highly recommend their businesses--not just for their products, but for their hearts.

It's one of those spots that instantly pulls you in with how beautifully it's set up. Everything felt festive, thoughtful, and honestly... kind of magical. If you're into holiday vibes, this place is Christmas on steroids in the best way. They've got tons of unique items, from adorable stocking stuffers to perfectly curated gifts. And if you're a college football fan? You're going to lose your mind -- they had so many cute team-themed items I had to stop myself from overloading the basket. They also customize stationery, and the layout of the store makes you want to stroll every single aisle. Clean, organized, and just flat-out pretty. But the part that stood out most? The service. The staff was incredibly personable and kept checking in without being overbearing. At checkout they asked if I wanted to sign up for the rewards program -- and honestly, it was an easy yes because I already know I'll be back. Great products bring you in, but great service is what gets you returning. Bonus moment: I even helped find a coworker's phone that decided to play hide-and-seek somewhere in the merch. Found it though -- so you're welcome, Dallas. Perfect little local gem. I'll definitely be back.

I stopped in Needlepoint This, because I'm going all in and I'll now be that woman who visits every LNS. All of the ladies in here were lovely, welcoming and helpful. I quickly let them know I'm brand new and looking to start needlepoint quite soon. I picked up a Waffle House canvas (my first 18 count as my blueberry pancakes is a 13) and some thread. Jane was especially kind to not have me spend too much seeing as though this will be one of my first projects and helped select essentials thread for my stitching. There's that itty bitty part of me that always wants the good stuff but I'm sure this will be just fine seeing as though I'm not even certain how this whole new found desire to make this a hobby of mine will turn out. I stitched my first stitch with Jane and she was very encouraging and supportive. Their classes are sold out for the remainder of the year which feels common in the area. I'm really hoping to find a great one somewhere because I love hands on learning and feel most comfy around a professional to get started and answer questions that will undoubtedly arise. We'll see, as each day passes I'm growing more confident in just starting on my own with videos. I now have just about everything I think I'll need to begin. Jane gave me a project bag and some travel scissors in addition to a couple other needles. I liked her suggestion to not use stretcher bars, although I have some I may experiment with different ways to see which I prefer. Parking is a little wonky in the area due to construction on Lovers Lane, I'd suggest trying to park across the road if you can't snag a spot on their side.

I have been shopping at Rutherford's for almost 25 years. I myself have owned my own business & consider myself a very understanding, positive person in almost every situation life brings upon us. That being said...I also believe the heart of our lives is our Home. More so today than ever before. Home is our safe place to be & recharge. I also entertain at home & many of my friends say I have the gift of hospitality. I am not the least bit pretentious. That saying treat the janitor the same as the CEO is exactly how I've been raised. Thank you, please & a friendly tone go a long way. Excellent Customer Service is so important in business. The human connection can truly save any situation, turn a negative into a positive. We all have that favorite server at our favorite restaurant that we feel are like much loved family. When we make a human connection with others, when they get us we should continue to share with them. In all my business encounters when I find a person who is passionate about their job & executes it with knowledge, friendliness & communication...that's customer service. I want to encourage that relationship by asking for their service, be it my restaurant server, the person I purchase a car, furniture or the person I choose for home decor. This past year I had a lampshade blinged up by Pamela, couldn't have been happier. She had perfect insight & suggestions on how to make my lamp enhance my home. She took into account my colors & my taste. Even though it was a small lamp & a tiny sale, Pamela treated my purchase with the same respect as if it was a million dollar sale. Returning to Rutherford's on Monday to have 3 lampshades blinged I was going to set up an appointment with Pamela. Against my better judgement I let an acquaintance talk me out of it. Should have gone with my gut instinct. Upon entering the store I pretty much had an idea what I wanted, but always love the designers insight cause they are the professionals. I made the choices for 2 out of 3 of my lamps completely by myself. The 3rd shade was more difficult to find a match. Finally I settled on a it will do choice, do I like it, yes...not in love with it. After an hour my brain was cooked. Pamela would have had it completed more timely, she & I were connected on the same color wheel. Ok, so I'm paying for my lampshade jewerly & this employee tells me Wednesday morning pickup. She will call me when my shades are ready. That's a longer turn around than I've ever had but I'm good. Happy to know Rutherford's is busy during this Pandemic. Wednesday morning works, my dinner guests were coming Wednesday night to taste test some new recipes for my future cookbook. Wednesday rolls around & it's 1:00, no phone call, so I call just to touch base. This employee is with another customer, no worries, I ask the person who answered the phone about my shades. She says they have no shades that she is aware of being done, ready for pickup. I leave a message for the employee who helped me, to call when she's available, no panic necessary. 2 1/2 hours later I have had no return phone call, so at 3:30 I call. She tells me she hasn't started my shades yet. No apologizes, no concern. Flat tone, she will have them done by 2:00 on Thursday. I never had tone, I was truly speechless. Ok, I feel like I've been kicked in the stomach, ouch! I'm so very disappointed. My naked lamps for my company to see the minute they enter my home. If I had known it was going to take over 3 days I would have done them myself. BTW, we all tasted some yummy food & we had some interesting dinner conversation. Thursday I never received a phone call either. Do you see the zero Customer Service??! Well, my Thursday was crazy, my Hubby & I raced to Rutherford's knowing they close at 5:30. There's also tons of construction on Lovers. We get there with 3 minutes to spare but the door is already locked. Employees are still inside so I'm about to ring them on my phone when dear Pamela sees us & comes to the door. She recognizes me, she's says your shades look beautiful, you made some excellent choices. We enter the store to pickup my shades & I want to give them a look over. The employee who waited on me...no acknowledgement of me at all! No hope you like your shades, no apologize, not even a hello!!!! NO CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!! The whole time Pamela is waiting on me. It's difficult for me to be critical, but I share with Pamela I'm disappointed that the ribbon on my entry shade is done incorrectly. On the top ribbon it was supposed to be half the size & it's crooked. Pamela offers to fix it but I'm concerned the fabric glue will show. I'll just live with it. Thank You Pamela, you were wonderful, can't say the same for the other woman who gave me zero Customer Service!

Every single canvas here could have gone home with me and I'd have been thrilled. The collection is so fresh and contemporary, it actually made me want to start five projects at once. They don't have a ton of large-format canvases, but there are some. Personally, I just wrapped up a belt project that took me...wait for it...20 years. Yes, two decades. I like to think of it as slow stitching, not procrastination. After finally finishing, over the past 6 or so months, I searched and searched for my next project and am a little bummed I didn't find this shop sooner. Turns out they weren't on Yelp. I actually stumbled upon them on TikTok, and in true enabler fashion, I set them up on Yelp myself. I had already bought my next canvases online, so when I came in I only needed all the fun extras to get started. Alice, who helped me, was fantastic. She set me up with the perfect thread colors, a needle minder, needles, stretcher bars and pins, and even a stitch book. Basically, she made sure I had everything except the snacks to sustain me through my next marathon project. And get this, they have in store classes too (check the website)! I'm absolutely psyched to go, because I could use a few tips to shorten my average project timeline from 20 years to less than 10. This place is such a great find. Whether you're brand new and "needlepoint curious" or a long-hauler like me, stop here first. You'll walk out happy, inspired, and probably with way more goodies than you planned. THEY CLOSE AT 4pm, not 4:30pm on Saturdays. Yelp has it wrong!…read more Until my last experience (the Saturday before Easter), I've had fairly good experiences here. However, after spending over an hour in the car to try to get here from my aunt's house in Greenville, I was rudely yelled at by the owner when entering the store. "We close in 6 minutes!!!" This was the beginning of the end for me... I live in Houston so I only get to come here when I'm in town visiting family or if I make a special trip to come stock up on fabric. I happened to be in town the weekend of Easter and tried to come here on the Friday before Easter, only to find a handwritten sign on the door that they were closed (for Good Friday) and would be open again the next day. That was a bummer, but I asked my husband if we could try to come back on Saturday as I bought fabric from here previously and I needed more of it. My family in the area lives in Greenville, so it was quite a drive to get here from their house. I saw here on Yelp that they close at 4:30pm, so we rushed and I ended up walking in 6 minutes to 4pm. How do I know this? Because as soon as I walked in, the owner screamed "we close in 6 minutes!!!" at me. I responded, "online says 4:30pm and I'm from out of town". She rudely replied "well online is wrong - we've tried to fix it but it's wrong". I rushed to grab my fabric and with 2 minutes left to 4pm, she yelled from the front "are you ready to check out?!" They had already rushed everyone else (all 2 other people) out the door and I was the only one left. Listen, I get that it was a Saturday and you're trying to go home....but you weren't open the day before due to a holiday and you now have a customer in front of you who's ready to spend money and also told you that she's in from out of town... To be treated so rudely, by the OWNER, nonetheless, is absolutely unacceptable. Next time I'm in town, I'm sticking to spending my money at the other 3 fabric warehouses next door as I will NOT be coming back to this place.

Then the rude lady who pushed me out the door felt the need to correct me and say it was 5 minutes until closing, and that they didn't have any customers so they were closing early.. It wouldn't be a big deal but I sat in over an hour of traffic to get there and really needed 20 yards of fabric to finish a project that is to install tomorrow. Awful customer service from this particular lady.
