It's crowded at the entrance door and people can easily see your information and the two people at the front desk are preoccupied and barely look up while you're trying to figure out their electronic check in . Many of their elderly patients I'm certain have difficulty with this method of checking in. There is no medical staff that greets you other than the MD himself who performs all the pre appointment checks( BP weight etc) normally done by a nurse or assistant This actually limits the actual time spent discussing your real issues or the reason for your visit,They suggest that it gives them more time with the patient but it does not.They could spend more time doing what the patient is there for by having these things done in advance of there coming in. Bedside manner is lacking as well as thoroughness and timeliness. When having difficulty with a prescription it took 4 days for them to respond, the second time I needed a prescription after two days of not hearing from my pharmacy I called to find out that it had not been submitted but sitting on the MDs desk to review when it was he who suggested the prescription. Now a days I personally do not have enough time left in my life to wait for these people to get a handle on things. I'm certain they will work it out I just don't have the time or patience to wait

They have been wrong on more than one occasion, which at one point almost caused my child's infection to become meningitis. They love to say everything is a virus! All the providers here are terrible, we have tried all of them, one worse than the next. I once was asked why I was checking my child's temperature when they were sleeping as if it was the provider's choice. Obviously it was because their temperature seemed very high and thank goodness, because I rushed to the hospital and the bacterial infection that they called a virus was almost deadly. Very inexperienced practitioners. Oh and god forbid your child is sick and nervous about being at the dr in general because they will go ahead, look you in the eye and tell you they have autism after seeing them for 5 minutes. Nope, it's not possible my child is deathly ill and nervous and is not acting like themselves. God forbid you question their expertise, they will retaliate and go as far as typing up a 2 page briefing of a visit that is completely in their favor, full of lies and things that were never said to protect themselves, the office, their creditability and their career without any awareness that they are committing a crime and exhibiting unprofessional conduct! And of course all the providers including Melissa Dean, will back each other up, even though it will be clear that one made a mistake. Their newest provider (Stacion Gibbs) used to work at a nursing home and wants to wave her power wand because that's what she's used to with the elderly. Stay away from these incompetent shoemakers. It is absolutely atrocious and horrendous that these people are allowed to treat children. Proceed with caution. A much-needed complaint to the medical board is in order.

I felt very fortunate to find this practice; they were so accommodating when I called and told us to come right in. We were worried we'd spend all day sitting in a waiting room, but we were in and out in good time AND received thorough care. Kiddo had a thorough exam, including a rapid test which I appreciated to rule out strep, and appropriate antibiotics sent directly to the pharmacy nearest our rental. I'm glad I went with my gut and opted for this practice with an experienced family doctor to help calm my anxious mom nerves instead of an urgent care, where you usually wind up with a PA. Dr. Olarsch helped save our family vacation!

He took such great care of both of my sons. I consider myself very lucky to have him as a doctor for my sons. His father was my summer doctor growing up. We will miss him. It is a busy practice, but they always take the time you need to go over your issues. The other practitioners (Dr. Sophie and Joyce Blevins) are wonderful as well. Office staff is wonderful and has been there for years. That says something about the continuity of the practice and the wonderful work environment.

Their on call after hours doc has done a great job in quickly returning calls. When we've had rapid need, we've rarely had to wait more than 20 min. Every staff member is kind and polite and always helpful. I've encountered every provider there at some point, Dr. Wehberg, PA Adams, and the NP's, they have all been great and compassionate. It's is so important to feel comfortable with your pediatricians office and know that you can call them and have a person pick up each time. You can always get same day appointments and messages left for your doctor are always returned in a timely matter. There are certain things they do to go above and beyond like sending you congratulations cards after the birth of a new baby and they give mothers to newborns a postpartum checklist to looks out for new moms as well! The office is clean, each exam room is beautifully decorated in a different theme for the kids to enjoy and the waiting room has separate sides for well and sick visits, which is very appreciated by parents! She was DISRESPECTFUL and THREATENED to discharge my child SIMPLY because I asked to speak to the provider and she REFUSED to allow me to do so regarding MY CHILD. She is UNPROFESSIONAL and has no business even getting on the phone. I asked another employee later in the day to speak with the provider and the same woman INTERCEPTED that call and again REFUSED to allow me to speak with any provider or anyone else but her or she was discharging my child and said that the paperwork was already on the desk because I hung up on her after telling her I would call back later in the day. I immediately found another place for both of my children to go after that because to be refused the right to speak to a provider regarding my child is absolutely unacceptable and threatened to be discharged TWICE on top of it all was absolutely unacceptable as well. I will never take my children back to that location and it's sad because the providers that started it are absolutely AMAZING but being spoken to like that is not something I am okay with when I was nothing but respectful. I would stay FAR FAR FAR away until they make some office employee changes.
