Most of the time, he was passive about the training. I've never thought Wushu is "his thing" until one day he visited CMAA. He has been so dedicated to the sport that he doesn't want to miss any training - very much proactive. As the result, he has excelled well and won gold medals in recent regional and national competitions. I have been trying to figure out the "hooks." First of all, the amazing coach. Lucas is the owner and instructor. He's Caucasian, but he knows Chinese martial arts no less than Chines athletes. He studied in China for a few years and is able to read the Kong Fu code book that most Chinese could not even comprehend. Above all, he knows how to teach. He motivates not pushing. He paces each student's progress based on individual readiness. He not only teaches moves, but ethics and discipline. My son constantly paraphrases the words Lucas uses, like "early is on-time, on-time is late, and late is unacceptable...""virtuosity is doing common things uncommonly well..." The training facility is new (a year and half) and tastefully decorated. The schedule is flexible and you can find proper time slots easier than many other schools. The students there are also amazing. My son is friend with almost every student; some of them are years older. In class, they help each other. After school, they are buddies. Considering after almost a year training at CMAA, my son is still so crazy about Wushu, Lucas must be doing something right!

In addition, the Qigong practice helps me with calmness, clear thinking and patience as I go through each day. The staff all are extremely engaged, the studio is really clean, and the coaching quality is exceptional. My little one is hypermobile so we have to be thoughtful on her form and we have fairly high standards on instruction (I come from a gymnastics background as well)...dynasty athletics has definitely exceeded our expectations. The owner Jamie went out of her way to answer all of my questions as we got started and is out on the floor with the kids as a coach herself. I'm really glad we are here.

There is a ball pit, a zipline, an upstairs play area that you get to by going up stairs and then down a slide, a dress up area with a stage, a rock wall, a trampoline, a see saw, Little Tyke Cars and Motorcyles, baby dolls, a kitchen place, and a variety of other toys. It had snowed the night before and I was wondering what the parking lot would be like, and it was snow and ice free. The workers have each person use hand sanitizer going to and from the play area. The bathrooms and the party area were very clean. I like that you can purchase snacks on the premise too.

I feel 100% at ease leaving my children with the staff at this facility. Owners, Steve and Lauren have an open door policy and are always happy to take the time to speak with parents and give updates. Director, Jenn is very hands on and always takes the time to say hello to every child and really gets to know them all on a personal level which then helps with their education because she is able to address specific needs as needed. Not only are the staff members amazing teachers, they have also become friends over the years. Every teacher I have had the pleasure of meeting has shown an interest in ensuring my son is comfortable in their room and addresses specific educational needs during his different developmental phases. My son is polite, happy, energetic and excited to go to school and learn every day. While I would love to take all the credit, it is his teachers and school who really get him excited to learn. The owners often put together events for families which is awesome! I love having the opportunity to attend these events and speaking with other parents, teachers and seeing my child in his element. He is always so happy to show off his artwork and show the different stations in his classroom that he enjoys. KA Albany also has an open door policy where parents are encouraged to come and spend time whenever they would like. There have been times I have stopped by at odd times and my child was always happy in his classroom participating in a learning activity with his teachers. The center is always clean and organized and staff genuinely seem happy and excited. I have toured other centers and preschools and hands down KA was the best option. Anyway, my children are in prek and preschool at Tutor Time and I can't say enough good things about our time there. The kids in this program are so incredibly loved. My kids walk in and give the site director a hug because they know she loves them. We then proceed to the classroom, where they are again greeted with love and kindness by their teachers. My kids are NOT perfect kids, but they are loved and treasured through their imperfections. The school provides them with the structure and content they will need to be successful in all of their school years. The most important way to give a child success in their education is to give them a love for learning and a love for school. Tutor Time absolutely does that! The kids engage in a variety of activities through many areas of curriculum. They come home excited about science experiments, the STEAM lab, and social time where they nourish friendships with support from their teachers. I love that we are sent photos throughout the day and are given access to cameras in their classrooms. Within my employment I see many schools- preschool, prek, and beyond- and this is, hands down, the most nurturing and educational for young children. I can't recommend them highly enough. When we first enrolled, as new parents, we were scared to leave our kids with anyone. Now the staff is like family! From management to the teachers, they are so loving and compassionate. I actually can not picture our children anywhere else and we have held off on moving from the area based solely on the fact that we love EG tutor time so much. if you're shopping around for a facility, go meet the staff and take a tour. I'm not sure where or how a negative review can be written about this place, but if you're lucky enough to get a spot, you won't regret it!
