I wanted to see a necklace that was in a case, so I waited patiently until one of the two employees was available. When I asked if I could see it, the employee dramatically sighed and asked which one. I pointed it out, and she grabbed it, put it on the counter, and immediately started walking away. I had to get her attention again to ask what material it was. She responded, "Well, what does the tag say?" I looked at the other side of the tag, which had "gp" scribbled on it. She then said, with an annoyed tone, "Okay, so it's gold plated," as though I had asked some ridiculous question. Then she walked away again. The entire interaction was unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I wasn't asking for anything unreasonable. I was trying to purchase an item from the store. Instead, I was made to feel like I was bothering her simply by asking a question about something I was considering buying. I was so put off by the interaction that I didn't even want the necklace anymore. Why go out of your way to make a paying customer feel unwelcome for no apparent reason? I won't give my money to a business where the staff can't be bothered to treat customers with basic courtesy and respect. If you look at their Google reviews, the staff's attitude is a known issue. They apologize in response to reviews but make no adjustments. It's a shame for a store with such a nice selection and location to have the employees ruin the experience.

The cashier greeted us, was enthusiastic about the merchandise being offered, helped me find EXACTLY what I was looking for, and best of all? The prices! For the quality, very reasonable! Totally blown away! The clothing section, while small, was stuff one can wear "back home" . The accessory selection was just as nice. I'm a "jeans and t-shirt" kind of gal, not a "boutiques" type at all. I went in, out of curiosity, expecting to be greeted by an over-made-up, very bored associate, and way overpriced items. If you have the strength to climb the stairs and can stand a little more heat you can venture upstairs to examine more merchandise that is literally crammed into every corner of this place. Every one of my experiences has been terrific and I always look forward to going there. In early July I purchased a purse from Allie June, which I loved and used a lot--unfortunately, the handle broke unexpectedly. I called Allie June and left a message. Allie made a point to give me the bag personally and thank me for my patience in waiting for a new bag.
